I update phone with latest one ui then test it with pcmark battery 3.0 and got 12:33 hours on screen time this identkcal to a33 or a53. I think samsung resolved battery shortage with latest update( in pcmark website this is 9:41)

dOTY, 28 May 2023Is a plastic film a better choice given that it offers bett... moreI don't use plastic films anymore after my 2 days old S8 display cracked with that plastic thing on. Even if its victus protection I will get a tempered glass as i don't want any scratches on my phone.

I use a tempered glass on my phone, since it has an optical finger scanner and flat display it is easier to find screen protectors and they really work great!!

That doesnt sound so nice.... well i plan to have the protective foil applied by a specialist shop that has a machine for this, so i hope that wont happen, and once the protective foil is applied, the screen should be safe, unless i drop it hard or something, right ?

Well, i guess, if you look en... moreMy phone gives me 6-7 hours SoT on normal usage (WiFi hotspot on with 5G most of the time, with 25-40% brightness setting), I will call it normal. But yes screen has poor scratch resistance, my phone's screen got a minor but visible scratch when applying screen protector after receiving my order unit, shocking and disappointing, GG Victus is very poor scratch resistant, or may be it's Samsung's quality control issue I don't know, because in my unit there are dust particles under camera cover glass, I was shocked when I saw it. Unexpected from a company like Samsung.
But still I am using this phone, spent more than 3 months with it, my battery life is okay, other functions like camera performance, connectivity etc are also good, no major concern.

Well, i guess, if you look enough you always find some bad comments but i hate purchasing phone and sending them back.
People claim :
bad battery ( most common, even some who claim not to play a lot / use it a lot in general )
heating
display getting scratches easily
battery getting worse after a few months
Bad Connection for phone calls
and so on.... guess have to find out for myself
Appreciate all your answers though, thank you very much! Gave me the courage to order it and going to test it.

Gaming is okay not excellent, I see some frame drops and lags while playing Asphalt 9 over 30 minutes continuously due to heating (there is summer now in India so ambient temperature is higher than average).
