VickersG, 25 Jan 2021You are making assumptions to try and make your argument st... moreUnless you are into extreme programming or hacking AND you are doing it on the phone, AND that programming counts every millisecond, you will never feel the difference. Maybe if it's a very big video, you will finish the transfer a few seconds faster with the internal memory.
The idea is about having 2 different storage spaces, not only one, which drastically increases the risk of data loss if you drop the phone and damage it.
Also, the SD card is read only when used, while the internal memory is constantly refreshing itself. The bigger the internal memory, the more battery and processing power it uses.

As a flagship model and over pricy, the front camera isn't good as previous flagship models.

I personally use my micro sd for movies, text doctuments, pdfs, photos and I never have any prolems with read or write. I can't really see a benefit from faster storage honestly.

                    Just honestly curious.

                    Have a good day.

If so why do they advertise HDR recording? if recorded video does not have the quality of HDR the playback will lack the same quality. If it wasn't for the NO SD Card this would've been my next phone. I don't understand why they want too copy others, I think SD card is a great differentiator, at least for me. I find a lot of advantages about it. Not paying monthly for cloud storage. If the phone is damaged you don't loose your files, easy swapping between phones, etc.

Expandable Memory card slot must be included in Samsung phones, at least in the future models

You are welcome to back up to where ever you want but I was only saying why I am happy to buy a phone with no SD card I was not saying the people who are going to not buy Samsung because of no SD card are wrong but I do hope that I implied that they are wrong to tell me I should not buy a phone with no SD card.
UFS 3.1 = 1200MB/s SanDisks's fastest UHS-I microSD cards are the U3-rated Extreme PLUS line, which offer maximum read speeds of 100 MB/s and maximum write speeds of 90 MB/s, I do not make this shit up.

Anonymous, 24 Jan 2021HDR standard is a format of video content playback.. It isn... moreTrue color (24-bit) is referred to as an 8-bit display.
Deep color (30-bit) is referred to as a 10-bit display.

People refer to bits each R, G, B have when talking about display bits. Not the color depth. HDR10+ seems to require each R, G, B to have 10-bits. Making it a 30-bit color depth i.e. 10-bit.

"HDR10+ isn’t the only HDR format with ambitions of becoming the next king of the HDR castle. Dolby Vision is an advanced HDR format created by Dolby Labs, the same organization behind the famous collection of Dolby audio technologies like Dolby Digital and Dolby Atmos. Dolby Vision is very similar to HDR10+ in that it uses dynamic, not static metadata, giving each frame its own unique HDR treatment. But Dolby Vision provides for even greater brightness (up to 10,000 nits) and more colors too (12-bit depth, for a staggering 68 billion colors).

For now, these specs are a bit moot: There are no 12-bit capable TVs yet, and brightness of that caliber remains the stuff of prototypes. But both are certainly coming in the years ahead, and when that happens Dolby Vision will be ready. Unlike HDR10+, which only had its official launch in 2018, and has so far seen limited uptake by both content and hardware companies, Dolby Vision has been around for several years and enjoys wide industry support, which could help it end up the advanced HDR format of choice in the long-term. Part of the reason Dolby Vision is less abundant than HDR10 is the fact that it’s a proprietary technology and companies that wish to implement it in content or hardware must pay a licensing fee to do so. HDR10+, like its predecessor HDR10, is open-source and royalty-free which could see its adoption rate explode over the coming years, especially amongst TVs competing for the budget rung."

                                      "True color (24-bit)

All 16,777,216 colors (downscaled, click image for full resolution)
24 bits almost always use 8 bits each of R, G, and B. As of 2018, 24-bit color depth is used by virtually every computer and phone display[citation needed] and the vast majority of image storage formats. Almost all cases of 32 bits per pixel assigns 24 bits to the color, and the remaining 8 are the alpha channel or unused.

                                      Deep color (30-bit)
Deep color consists of a billion or more colors.[16] 230 is approximately 1.073 billion. Usually this is 10 bits each of red, green, and blue. If an alpha channel of the same size is added then each pixel takes 40 bits."
