I am experiencing some issues with my new 21 Ultra. When using the camera for more than 2 minutes it does overheats causing the camera to stop working. The battery and everything else is as you would expect from a flagship.

I so regret giving my 12 pro max for this garbage phone camera heata up in just one minute battery life is nothing like reviews. Speakers are just ok. Never again samsung i have thw exynos variant and i thought it was improved.

I tried heavy games like Genshin Impact, it was giving 30-35fps at certain stages which is unacceptable as last year's chips like Snapdragon 865 give better performance. It shouldn't struggle on a phone which costs 1250€.
Camera performance especially video is poor. I don't know what is wrong. Samsung used to be the best at video recording. Maybe it's the lack of Optimization for Exynos 2100.
Overall image quality wasn't that impressive in low light compared to my wife's mi 10 ultra.
Things I liked about the S21 Ultra were looks, battery life, screen.
For whatever reasons, it didn't resonate with me, was expecting more from a 1250€ device.
I returned mine after using it for few days. Will wait for phones from other manufacturers.

Plastic back (glasstic) doesn't matter since people will most likely put a case on it
the entire lineup last year could only do 1080p/120hz so u cant complain about the screen on s21/+ and it saves more battery
Battery life will also be longer due to the new 5nm chips and battery efficient OLED's which are now 20% more efficient
Exynos has improved so much that it is now identical performance to the Snapdragon chip
u can now do 1440p/120hz (S21U) UNLIKE the s20 lineup
the entire lineup is now $200 cheaper launch price than last years
do i need to continue any further?

I agree with him/her, Samsung really up their game with the Exynos 2100, I've seen many videos showing how Snapdragon 888 and Exynos 2100 are almost on par, really happy for Samsung. Sure the S21 has a plastic back and only a 1080p display but, because of that the price is lower and I'm sure some people put a case on the phone. I won't call the S21 series the best or the worst, but Samsung has made many helpful improvements.

S21 is the worst Galaxy S line in Samsung history - a product of their marketing team, not engineers. Can you stop kissing Sammy's btt for a min and list the technological ADVANTAGES of the new line? Plastic back, low display resolution and lack of a dozen of features from the previous versions? :-)))

samsung have really improved on their exynos this year even since the horrendous performance of the EX990 compared to the SD865/+. now people with both chips will be happy since they now have near equal performance and efficiency. good job on the exynos and the s21 lineup this year samsung!

Only downgrade is gaming because gpu is struggling a little bit. I hope samsung will work with AMD in that case snapdragon will be behind in every way

Using the 512 GB version since last 3 days.Oh What a performance till now,no sign of lagging, no heating issues like some reviwers are complaining. Still photos are outstanding, no comparison. Not missing SD card as internal storage is 512 GB. Meanwhile I am using Exynos version in India.

How can one differentiate between samsung galaxy s21 ultra snapdragon and Samsung galaxy s21 ultra exynos since they are not written on their boxes

Fluffy1, 04 Feb 2021The fact that they have a different, 20% weaker performing ... more20% slower? The Exynos 2100 is a few % faster, but the GPU is a bit slower, just a tiny bit (not noticable at all). The Exynos battery life is even better than on the sd865. It has also less thermal throteling.

The fact that they have a different, 20% weaker performing CPU/Chipset in the international model is a major let down to be honest. So you are paying the same price, for a more shitty version of what the phone could be. To me this is like accepting a scam and just shrugging instead of making it known that the public will not accept the crap that is being pulled.

if i have money.. i would definitely buy this.... i dont care about chipsets, software problems, and sd cards and i love samsung as well. soo just use it normally. don't be choosy jeez

I'm more interested in the SD card slot, the processor and RAM, the type of memory used etc.
If Samsung would make a cameraless S21 Ultra with more battery and an SD card slot, I'd instantly buy it.
I guess my only option left is Sony now. No china brands for me. Yukk!
