If you are not from usa, go buy some Xiaomi phone, only they have similar specs, or you can buy Realme 7 or 7 pro.

Hey guys. Hope everyone is fine and safe. Guys I wanted to buy a phone. But I am totally confused. Which phone can u guys suggest for me?? The phone should have 8 GB ram, 64 MP camera, and less than 300 dollars. It should be a good phone and indisplay fingerprint scanner. The phone should have a punch hole selfie camera instead of notch. I am fed up with notch. 😜😜

So ... moreseems to me that most of you Xiaomi fans have been used to paying less for cheap phones and then when Xiaomi brings out a decent (definitely not top tier) device you think it's the greatest thing ever. The fact is that the quality is not there and the proof is that they keep pumping out model after model to keep their name relevant. That's one thing that iPhone is good at, they make top quality devices and you know your getting top quality (I don't like the brand myself but they do offer consistent quality).
Now for Samsung to tiptoe into the cheap phone area while still being profitable they need to charge more (brand names go a long way even to this day). So for most of the people casually walking into a phone store (or whatever you people call them) and they see a brand like Samsung, Apple, LG... even Sony for $100 more than a specced out chinese variant that you no doubt have seen on Wish or AliExpress for 1/3 of the price they will no doubt go for the name brand.
Obviously you don't and that's fine. But I've looked at the Xiaomi phones recently and they don't offer anything that would draw me in from my current Samsung.
Comes down to display, SoC and ram for me and nothing up until the ill fated Mi 11 was even close.
So keep using your disposable phones and I'll keep using my 'top tier' phones that are guaranteed to last my typical 2 year upgrade cycle.

Note 21 ultra should include sd card slot or else i'm switching to oneplus. (i know they don't have it either, but 512gb model will be waaay cheaper)
To you this may sound like a win-win situation, but if i switch, i'll lose good lock, so it's actually a lose lose situation.

no sd then no go, only 512 max and big dollars no way, if sd you could have lots, sticking with s10 at this stage. was about to order one till i found out no sd, so a big no from me. going down the apple rabbit hole for quick bucks pass.

S21 ultra might have overheating issues. Just watched a youtube video which explained on how snapdragon 888 is designed and comparison with power draw as compared with snapdragon 865 and other chipsets.
Hoping this isn't the case.
