Exynos consumes more power, heats up more/quicker and produces worse images. While Samsung sells Exynos phones for the same price as SD ones. So good luck overpaying for your rooted inferior phone.

Developers love Exynos because off open source, unlike Slowdragon.
Exynos is great for rooting.
Nagging over 5% decrease as ifvthat mstters or you can tell the difference.

After S7 they just mess up the cameras..a lot of MPx just to steal the eyes, but low quality lenses. Just buy some Carl Zeiss, and put it into, and then we talk about cameras..sice that, i will choose Leica lenses, a little less MPx but better pics. At this final price of the products, samsung should afford it.be fairplay, gentilmans ...
And in general, what the flick is going on with that 4:3 pics format? We are not in 2005, we pay a lot of money for wide displays...

Price for S21 series not cheaper than last year S20 series model (only 128GB are same price like last year model)
Example:last year at Malaysia Note20 Ultra for 256GB price at RM5199($1257.62)
This year(2021) S21 Ultra price at RM5299 for 256GB($1281.81)

I hesitated to buy this phone because of my previous experience with exynos powered s20 series including S20 FE i still own. But when i got this phone (exynos powered) i was amazed how good it was. No lag or heating issues at all. I liked it so much that i bought S21+ for my wife. Samsung has done a great job with its chipset this year. All i could say is, its the first decent flagship by samsung after S9 series that i loved. Hope samsung doesnt disappoint their users in future.

You can buy this from shopee for cheaper but you need to make sure you chose Malaysia for the country because the s21 ultra is the cheapest in the whole world in Malaysia

battery capacity , screen refresh rate (adaptive and resolution) , cameras , and exynos version are the most important differences .
s21 supports spen but note 20 ultra has a pen with it and that's an advantage may be .

You can order online, but that costs a lot, plus you basically lose warranty. I live in EU, and every time i look at new phones, i dont even look at samsung. until samsung pulls 4 years in a row of high end exynos phones that are equal or better than snapdragon, they wont exist for me.

Or just can't afford it?its not about amount of storage, its about freedom, you can have all your data on sd card, and you can easily move it from phone to phone. You can do it with usb drives these days, but that is still painful, you have to copy all data, plus android is very bad with file system drivers, one android device can support your usb drive, another android device can have broken drivers and wont support your usb drive.

Advice - DON'T buy one with exynos, it's not worth the money, so many glitches,bugs.. One with Snapdragon is quite faster.

MJ , 22 May 2021Happend to me with Exynoss version ,Returned it back n Got ... moreSamsung really needs get this binning problem sorted there's just too much variation between chips for my liking, I bought both an Exynos S21 & S21 Ultra & one scores 67.9% stability while the other scores an outstanding 93.4% in 3DMARK. There seems to be quite a few Snapdragon duds being sold also from what I've read it's quite a lucky dip
