Probably because they got a bad unit, which they got from different stores and while some didn't have any issues or complaints whatsoever!

Anonymous, 05 Jul 2021why did you buy s21 and note 20 when you are going to end u... moreBecause I love all the stuff i mentioned; but with that i need a phone that just works when i want them to work. I am not gamer. I need something which work ALMOST flawlessly.; without much hiccoughs.
That is why i told that IF THEY WON'T REPLACE it, then i will go for Pixel 4a.
Even after replacement, if issue persists; then what to do. I have money to buy S21 ultra / note 20 ultra; but not okay with continuous minor issues daily.
But I am Android person and not much in to any Chinese brands. I tried iphone once, but not my cup of tea.
And I have Samsung Tab S6 lite. After purchasing it; i felt S-pen has best utilization on tablets rather than phone.
So stock android will be next choice. Possibly i will use most good looking mobile case to hide pixel's okayish look.

Have used note 20 Ultra for 3 months, the exonys version . And now using the S21 ultra since last 15 days, the exonys version obviously. I got it, used one [4 months] for 10000 INR difference in exchange of note 20 Ultra.
1st thing you notice is, they are almost same.
2nd thing, is S21 runs significantly cool; except during charging when it use to be a little bit warm.
3rd thing, better zoom cameras and macro mode. Rest is almost same. As I am not much in videos, i am okay with relatively ok quality compared to Iphone.
4th thing, max brightness; esp outdoor. It is easier to read.
5th thing, with samsung original flip cover, it is bit heavier in pockets especially. Inspite of almost same weight iphone 12 pro max has better weight distribution; esp when in hand.
6th thing, battery back up is definitely better. For same screen on time, my note 20 ultra goes to 25-30 percentages at 6 pm in evening, and this s21 ultra is almost at 55-60 percentage remaining. With location disabled, i can pull up from 1st day 8 am to 2nd day 6 pm easily.
now 7th and last thing and possible nightmare, finger print scanner. When working with note 20 ultra, i thought it might have one of the worst one. S21 scanner beats that scanner by night and day. Sometimes I need to press only once and sometimes 5-6 times and sometimes I need to use password instead of finger print scanner. No objective issues, as noticed by Samsung repair shop. And out of three times, twice it was working perfectly when I went to repair shop. It was third time badluck, that finger print scanner showed its true color.
And yes, possibly due to really bad finger print scanner, This small factors has annoyed and frustrated me like hell, as we need to unlock mobiles at least 100-150 times a day on an average. If my unit won't be replaced, I am going to get pixel 4a.
