Super Presh, 10 Nov 2022How did you know the Exynos vs Snapdragon debate is just hy... moreI currently have an Exynos s10, I have previously had Exynos s8, s6, and s4. Every one of them has been perfect. No heating no lagging. What more do you want? I intend to update to the s23 upon its release and don't mind whether there may be an Exynos version or Snapdragon. Seriously, how much more power or speed do you need in a phone.

See, there is a wide gap between Snapdragon & Exynos. In fact, while browsing, my S7 will heat as if there was fire under it. It can be used to cook😎.
That experience made me to vow never to use any Samsung phone with Exynos chipset.

It is still working like a charm. All this talk about Exynos vs. Snapdragon is just a whole lot of hype and everyone just jumping on the bandwagon and being parrots repeating what others say. "Armchair experts". One may be a minute fraction than the other but you would never notice.

And i can say that using it at 60hz and 4g it becomes a battery phone reaching up to 10h screen on in a day.and still very fast . Phones are very expensive today and I prefer to sacrifice iper fast UI but not the battery performance.

I'm waiting for some exciting new feature on the S23, but I doubt Samsung would offer something new. If they just put the latest processor, and increase the resolution of the cam, that would be very boring.

I wish the S22 could offer the same amount of details in pictures , than my much cheaper previous midrange poco F2 pro. I find frustrating that the pics taken by the S22 plus, often look over-simplified, with a ton of IA compensating the flaws of the hardware.

Same for other 4 friends, family members. I don't think you ever owned 2k screen is such small body.

At 1080p, a phone with 529 ppi will obviously be smaller than with 393 ppi. If you need a sharper "s22 plus", just for the sake of being sharper, take instead the s22.

You can't reduce resolution without reducing pixel density, unless you are reducing the size of the screen. The pixel density helps to get an idea, if the resolution is enough big for a particular size. You won't find a 4K resolution on a smartwatch, because you can reach a big pixel density at a much lower resolution.

But the S8+ still has a higher pixel density whether you reduce resolution or not, it will look sharper than the sub-400 ppi on the new Plus range.

That's the problem. They do no expect that you look close a the screen. At a normal/typical viewing distance (at least 1 meter), you shouldn't be able to tell the difference. Only near-sighted people would put the screen close to their face. Are you near-sighted ? I am near-sigthed, but my screen protector blurs pixels anyways.

                                    >> One day they're going to put a a 720p screen on future S series phones and people will still try to tell you there's no difference

1080p was my minimal requirement. The S22 plus match my minimal requirement. I wouldn't buy a 720p screen. And by the way, the resolution of my 17 inch laptop is currently 1080p (I can see pixels, but there's a nice technical thing called "anti-aliasing", this mitigate a lot such problem) , so I don't care much if my 6.6 inch smartphone's screen is 1080p too.

1080p on a $1000 phone is a scam, a complete ripoff by Scamsung. They're trying to reduce the cost of the normal and plus as much as they can while increasing the price to make the ultra variant more appealing. One day they're going to put a a 720p screen on future S series phones and people will still try to tell you there's no difference
