Literally no difference b... moreidk if you have terrible vision or something else... i had s8 since it came out until yesterday because the phone was just terrible(freezing, touching the screen doing nothing, etc etc) and i bought the s22+ and the damn difference is dumb, the screen is so much better compared to the s8.

So I went to the store, and compared the screen of the S22 ultra with the screen of the s22 plus. I looked very close, and I got to admit ... I can see the pixels.
However on my S22 plus I can't see the pixels ... That's because I use a screen protector. It's the clearest screen protector I could find (with UV glue). But it blurs just enough the screen, to hide any pixels.
Since I insist on using a screen protector (I hate scratches), I don't care of the extra resolution of the ultra, it's just enough sharp for me.

Maybe if you'... moreI've had s8+ with 2k screen. Literally no difference between full hd and 2K. Only difference is 2k is battery hog. Then I've switched to huawei p30 FULL HD screen. Compared it s8+ 2k screen to huawei full hd screen and guess what 0 difference just color settings was way nicier on huawei. Then I bought s21+ with full hd screen. Compared it to s8+ 2k(529ppi btw) and guess what again. 0 difference lol.
I guess what you are seeing is psycholigal. You want to see a diference because you think premium must have atleast 2k screen. But in reality companies realised there aren't difference in full hd and 2k in such tiny screens. And battery problems are fixed with normal resolution.

Jokes asides advice for everybody reading forums like this about phones. If some individual says that 6.6 screen needs to be 2k they don't understand technology at all. You can't see a difference in such tiny display.

VladoP, 17 Oct 2022I saw it yesterday.....while Samsung trying to imitate ipho... moreWell, I definitely liked the new design. Samsung took the best from iphones, and without that big punch hole Apple tried to hide with the "dynamic island" thing.
Dimensions of S22+ are 157.4 x 75.8 x 7.6 mm, while for the S21+ 161.5 x 75.6 x 7.8 mm. Only width is slightly bigger, and I don't care because bezels are minimal. The new S22+ is not bulky at all.

I saw it yesterday.....while Samsung trying to imitate iphone's frame and form factor, they ended with just uglier and bulkier S21.
