In more batree setting processing speed choose optimised phone will not heat and stable too. Before i choose maximum so my phone was heating otherwise its ok.

SD 865 870 best proccesar of snapdragon upar than this create a lot of heats and legs in animation 8gen1 also feels leggy in animation my s20 fe was better than this you can't put a car ingine in motercycle

Heating issue in s22 plus samsung didnt use specific cooling method in s22 plus like ultra display is also low ppi. Size is perfect but specification not like pro samsung you cant do this horrible regretting after upgrade form s20 fe 5g

I had 3 phones in last 10 years, first HTC sensation XE, 2nd HTC m8, 3rd Oneplus 5T, and now since last sunday using s22+, Only this phone getting warm, I use Whatsapp with friends and family and don't like to play games, so what is the reason it is getting warm?, well I think it is SD chip 8 gen 1 causing issue, I already mentioned in my previously post that after half an hour it is getting warm from the top to middle of the screen without gaming online streaming etc, now i further mention It gets hot while on charging ( I use Samsung wireless charger), even I put it in my pocket after charging, I feel I have piece of hot inside my pocket.

op5t, 20 Apr 2022s22+ bought on Sunday 17/4/2022, White color, phone is good... moreI would like to mention that the phone's chip is SD 8 gen 1 and after half an hour of normal use (without gaming video) it gets warm from top to middle of the screen on the front but from middle to bottom of the screen's temperature remine cold and sustains normal.
The back is fully covered with a case so I couldn't feel any warmth from the back side of the phone.

Think key is not charging to 100% that often or leaving it on charge overnight👍

Simply supreb heating issue is not there. Ibougt white colour looks premium in handbut 45 watt fast charging is not as accepted dont waste your money on 45 w. Charger

s22+ bought on Sunday 17/4/2022, White color, phone is good, No Heating Issue, good display, just feeling heavier in the hand.

Except mine is S21+ 😎. But i use my phone a lot, about 5 hours SOT from 85%-30%. With 85-80 at the lowest brightness. The rest 50% brightness hehe

From my testing can get 5hour sot on a very heavy day with 5g and gaming normally been averaging 6 to 8 highest seen 9hours
Does get warmer pretty instantly when gaming but maintains that level
Only real issue is 5gs battery use as can half standby and sot time then in effect and does warm up the device quite abit

I'm finding charging up to 85% before bed, unplug. Wake up in morning it's around 78%, so good. Get down to about 35-45% end of day depending on how much been using it.
As only had it a few days it's still adapting to usage patterns, but found a few things I could set myself to improve things:
Deep sleep:
Samsung Internet
OneDrive
As never want these doing anything unless I'm actively using them.
Limited background:
Instagram
Snapchat
As don't use these much for IM etc.
Everything else as normal.
I'm impressed with the screen, even though lower dpi than s8 it looks clearer. Think this is due to the new displays having higher coverage of oled cells. (Note base s22 has previously gen screen, lower coverage and thus can't go as bright)
Side note: NEVER set onedrive to auto backup camera/gallery as its NOT a backup system but actually a sync service. Onedrive copy becomes the master, you can't delete in onedrive to free space without it deleting it on EVERY device.🤦♂️🤦♂️ Instead create folder in onedrive and manually upload. Pita sure, but safer.

I got white s22 plus sd version in india. Great looks good display no heating i was using s20 fe sd before this that was also very good phone at low coast. If you have no budget for so calle flagship phone you can go blindly for s20 fe 5g you will feel never regret
