Anonymous, 16 Mar 2022Could be when the phone optimises the apps in the backgroun... moreBattery improved after a week and still getting better due to optimisation and autonomy

You can also set adaptive 24~60hz using that galaxy hz app which save more battery as standard mode is 60hz fixed also use that app to lock any refresh rate

And by preordering, I also got a free upgrade from 128GB to 256GB. I will miss the SD Card of the S20 FE, but by upgrading my plan, I now get 600GB of Cloud for free. My previous plan gave me Hulu, Disney+, and ESPN+ for free, but my new plan now gives me Apple Music for free. Again, this is in the US. I'm not sure what offers you have been given by your carrier.

      Just ordered a s22+.

Samsung are sneaky on website. You select your options and there is a green tick "in stock".

Place order and it then says "pre-order, delivery 4th April" 🙄

That is not what "in stock" means🤦‍♂️

When I ever got a big os update phone would run hot most the day after because of this, then settle down again.

(Android optimising apps is basically compiling down the apk to native machine executable to make it fast on the device hardware. https://stackoverflow.com/questions/41483288/what-is-android-optimising-during-restarts)

If you are installing lots of new apps I suspect be doing this too in the background.

          Got s22+, 2weeks use now.
Love: screen, flat, big, bright. Good talking saund. Very fast call connection.

Minuses: fingerprint is slow. Few times in day crash
          - impossible to use with no-default theme. Already got 3updates, but nothing seems as medicine to that., hope to get next as solution.
No chance to make other user profile on phone.
Charging slow. Slow 4G internet connection at start, but when begin then OK.

Previous was HW mate 10pro - gorgeous phone, but 4y in use.

This phone is a good phone BUT NOT WORTH 1000$
800$ would be nice for starting price.

Well, I trade in my Samsung S20 FE Exynos version for the Samsung S22+ and I don't regret it. S22+ battery last even more than my old S20 FE I can go around 2 days with charge, I don't play games but I do watch You Tube videos and Social media ( FB, Whatsapp, Messenger) Browsing and Battery life is still great. Cameras are also very good in terms of sharpness, telephoto is awesome!! Great pictures, great videos on both 4K and 8K. All specs are very good. So, I don't regreat getting it. It's the best cellphone so far.

The S22 series made me a fan of Samsung again after years
But I do not like the S22 Ultra In terms of look
I think in S22 + phones have evolved and have whatever you want
Quality Screen with low and symmetrical bezels
                  beautiful design
                  Fingerprint sensor under the screen
                  Quality camera

and no need to periscope camera
                  wish to have this phone

Jemlim, 05 Mar 2022Megapixel doesn't even really affect the photo quality... moreWell technically it does matter when the mega pixel count is lowered. A 16 MP selfie cam will capture far more detail than a 10 MP one. The difference is extremely recognisable when zoomed in. But that's about it. Colour saturation and dynamic range are all tweaked by the company's software these days, no matter which phone you buy

I agree that when Megapixel counts are raised higher, that's when it stops mattering and become marketing gimmicks. Phones from Xiaomi, Poco, Realme, etc. are giving 108 MP cameras these days. Most people forget to even turn on that setting when capturing photos and think that all their photos are being taken at 108 MP. It's a useless feature. Even 32 MP selfie cameras are overkill.

48-50 MP on the rear main cam, and 16 MP on the front is currently the sweetspot for phones in my opinion

Borax300, 10 Mar 2022No, Samsung is cheating the S22+ buyers. They deliberately ... moreColor accuracy and screen brightness are arguably more important than pixel-peeping. And the S22+ excels in both departments.

SamG05, 17 Feb 2022I think the larger the display the lesser the ppiNo, Samsung is cheating the S22+ buyers. They deliberately gave the s22+ lower ppi and equal or same resolution as the A51. I'm saying this because the S-Ultra phones have bigger screens with matching higher resolutions and ppi. Ask yourself why they didnt make the screen resolution of the 6.8" s22 ultra 1080×2400 and 370ppi? Since its larger than the 6.6" s22+.? They are short changing the S and S+ buyers!

Just bought s22 plus and having overheating issues. Battery drains so fast that u need to change settings to power saver. U need also to downgrade 60hz screen refresh rate from 120 for longer battery consumption. If issue wasnt resolve , I need to return back the phone to the supplier

They priced it at 85K while having 1080p display. At least 2k they should have given which was even present in older S7 etc.. And same CPU they kept at 80% of original performance. WTF samsung?

Why S22+ has worse sample photos in GSMArena comparison tool than S22 since both phones have same camera setup?

Differences are not in an acceptable range, they are huge!
