Ok, After 1 month with S22+ my SOT has been 7hours 10 minutes, or maximum 10 hours when I don't turn screen that much in a day. I wish I can put a screenshot here of my SOT's times. What I said about 19 hours was because my phone tells also how many hours and minutes with the screen off too. So, I'm sorry If I confused anyone.

My last battery results after one week usage:
    SOT: 3h 56m
    Total used: 2d 18h

I was as using Xiaomi from Mi4, but latest versions was really disappointing, so it was really nice to come back to Samsung.

Kinda missed the way older samsung phones in the top of the line segment features a lot.

Dual Sim tray + Micro Sd Card Slot
With charger brick and decent wired earphone inside the box
      With 3.5mm headphone jack

I mean, samsung improved their software interface a lot, but they removed all the important hardware features of the phone. Imagine on their top of the line S series, you get a superb camera specifications, but without expandable storage it may eat a lot of storage when you're into photography and videography.

Ditching 3.5mm headphone jack just to let the consumers buy or shift into the trash wireless earbuds that needs charging and degrading batteries over the time.

Just like apple, you pay more to get less. Kinda disappointed.

Anonymous, 09 Apr 2022Got an S22+... Gotta admit I'm extremely disappointed ... moreThats exactly what i was thinking. its so thick it cant be 7.6mm. i cant believe no one has talked about this yet. so i had the s22 and the battery sucked and i returned it and now i got the s22+ and its way too big and chunky for my liking and its not comfortable holding it especially with a case. so im most likely going to return it. im using the s10 still as its so thin, light and compact and i cant find an alternative but at the same time with better specs. im a girl and i have small hands, and if all you companies are making bigger and heavy phones then looks like i can never switch phones.

Got the phone on 15th march and I am very happy and comfortable with this handset. I liked most is the 45 w fast charge, very fast and quick charging. Secondly the green colour awesome. And the size of the phone length, width and thickness very apt. Also transferring big files from usb very fast. Before I was using 20 plus with memory card. I transferred 100gb very smoothly. Thanks Samsung.

Got an S22+... Gotta admit I'm extremely disappointed with Samsung. Not only have they been lying about the performance (GOS fiasco), the faster 45W charging (only faster by 5mins, seriously? Still way slower than the fast charging for the China brands, & I've used quite a few), but they also lied all about the thickness of the phone! The S22+ is definitely not 7.6mm thick... It's more like slightly less than 9mm (~8.9mm)! Samsung is really going downhill as a company, cutting corners any way they can - GOS cos they are unable to put in an efficient cooling system to take full advantage of the chip performance & still have a decent battery life, & to think they have to resort to lying about the thickness of their phones to make them look more attractive on paper cos they are unable to come up with a slimmer design is just downright disgusting. A dishonest company will never stand the test of time... Once u lose the trust with consumers, it'll be hard for u to recover. Take heed Samsung, if u dun buck up, u may not be around much longer.

This phone doesn't work with pubg game. It lags and is super slow and stays at 48hz refresh rate. Is there a setting in the game for the graphics I should set it at?

Last year the S21 series already had lower PPI than the iPhone 12 series, you're late.
Then, you're comparing the 13 Pro Max to the S22+, it should be vs the S22 Ultra, they are the same price in my country.

I just purchased a Samsung S22+ in India. After 4 days of using it the one major issue I find is battery depletion is quite rapid - does not even last a full day with ~4 hours of screen usage ! Already atleast 4 charging cycles are complete & still no visible change. One software update is also done. Anyone else suffering the same fate? Good idea to return the phone back?

Zeus91, 02 Apr 2022Hi guys, I'm looking forward to either buying the s22 ... moreYou won't face any lag with this phone as I own one, and I'm in love with it. Specially for the battery part which last even longer than my previous one. DeX is also cool, I've used it on my PC and runs real fast no.lags no nothing. The only thing I tell people is about internal memory. If you are the kind of person who downloads a lot of apps buy the 256 GB if not go for the 128 GB. Both have 8 GB of RAM. I would have chosen the S22 Ultra but I don't like the edges and I'm not a fan of S pens either. Plus These phone get 4 Android updates and 5 years of security updates. So, this will be my phone for the upcoming years since every year there's not much of a change for this phones lately.
