The old bait and switch. Advertised 10-120hz screens at launch for all the hands-on reviews. Less than 1 week later, they've changed the adverts to 48-120hz. And they ran out of chargers for pre-order.

Anonymous, 13 Feb 2022And yet... people put their smartphones in a case. Nitpicki... moreSo going by your logic, companies shouldn't bother with good design at all since everyone just hides their phones in cases anyway?!? What a load of BS! If this is actually news to you, there are people who appreciate good design, & like sleek & slim phones that are a joy to hold (not like thick bricks) & use clear lightweight silicon cases so they can show off the sleek & slim design of their phones.

Anonymous, 13 Feb 2022Majority of people put a case on their smartphones anyways.Seriously enough with the excuses & blind fanboy loyalty -it's as if Samsung can do no wrong when we all know that no one company is infallible. So let's just call a spade a spade, & if they've made a horrid design choice, we should just call it out so that they can improve. This year's S22+ design change to a more boxy design with thicker straight edges (making the phone difficult to hold & seem thicker & chunkier, much like the iPhones) rather than the smooth rounded edges that they had all along before (which made the phones feel sleeker, slimmer & nicer to hold in the hand) is a really bad move. Full stop. Wake up, Samsung, stop trying to self-sabotage & kill everything wet used to love about your phones by copying Apple!

LOL, 12 Feb 2022After playing with the S22 Plus and S22 Ultra, here are my ... moreI had a hands on in the shop, & unfortunately I must say I agree... The S22+ feels cheap. But what's much worse is that the back contour edges are really sharp so much so that it kinda cuts into my hands when I'm holding it! It's as if the back panel is somewhat receded in & the side aluminum frame is slightly jutting out just that teeny weeny bit. Extremely obvious if u compare it side by side with the S21+.. the back edges of the S21+'s (& actually almost all Samsung phones b4 the S22 series, even the S21 FE) are smooth & rounded so it feels really good to hold in the hand. Really dunno what Samsung is thinking (perhaps trying to copy iPhone's boxy form - really bad move, Samsung!), but those edges are really horrid & imo is an absolute design flaw! The entire design team should be fired!

While the batteries really have a downgrade, and the telephoto cameras now have 3x optical zoom, I was wondering if the S22 models have macro mode installed on them or is it just for S22 Ultra?
