By the way, MIUI 13 of Xiaomi has spyware preinstalled which phones home to the Chinese government. They call it the 'anti-fraud' app. Look it up.

There isn't much value to getting a higher resolution screen, it only drains your battery faster. Sony does 4K display phones, that's an overkill.

Sam should have given QHD display in s22+ as FHD is not so great.

Just want to say that the dimensions of the S22 Plus is almost identical to the Sony Xperia C3 that was released in 2014.
Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus: 157.4 x 75.8 x 7.6 mm
Sony Xperia C3: 156.0 x 78.5 x 7.6 mm
However, the Samsung phone weighs 195g, while the Sony phone weighs 150g. The additional weight must be due to the cameras, glass and metal frame.

Reducing size is a perfect move. Perfect phone if they would add 5x zoom.3x is just normal.
Let see battery review later.

If samsung would give qhd plus display in this this would be the good choice for handy phone love only one difference witj s22 ultra display overall good package but not so much difference between these two. Should go for s22 ultra

Its ok to say that they have plateaued in the none-ultra variants.
If you have a 20 or 21, upgrading is matter of want rather than need.
Form over function, Its just shiny new + microsecond faster. The upgrades (or lack thereof) at this stage are so miniscule,they dont warrant another logical $1k investment.

When i'm watching... moreThe same way you don't care about LTPO, higher brightness, better hardware, faster charging, better battery life, a more powerful and more efficient soc, better and more capable camera, 4 years of major os update all the up to android 16 and 5 years of security update all the way up to 2027 can be said the same for alot of people who who don't care too much about 1440p. Not to mention the fact that samsung and tech youtubers figured that majority of the s20 series users used 120hz instead of 1440p since the average user could not tell the difference from 1440p from 1080p but they could easily feel the extra smoothness and responsiveness of a 120hz refresh rate.
