Last week i have downloaded a latest software update 5.1 and i just can say its most beautiful phone i ever have. Camera are perfect, the stereo speaker are perfect, the best display i ever saw.

My phone is xiaomi 12 which has 8 gen 1 also and its always hot even doing basic thing like scrolling through Instagram with wifi and 50% brightness, 41-45° Celsius ( 105-113 Fahrenheit)
And while recording video with main camera it easily reaches 50-55 in room temperature
I cant even record a video more than 2-3 minutes
I so regret about choosing this phone just because its compactness,
But 8 gen 2 is perfect in everything,
You can research about your phones processor, and please please dont buy phones that have 8 gen 1.
8+ gen 1 is okay but 8 gen 1, 888 and 888+ is disaster
Dont risk your money like me
