That is because you are using S22 Exynos 2200 processor. Depending on the region where you bought you must have got the S22 Exynos 2200. The long standing issue with Exynos processors have been overheating issues. Europe, Africa, South West Asia, Middle East and CIS(Commonwealth of independent states) have Exynos chips whereas North and South America, South Korea, South East Asia, China, Japan and India have Snapdragon chipsets.

I have used the S8 for a very long time, and I was very happy.
recently I purchased the S22. The display on the S22 is excellent, and I find it convenient to handle with just one hand. However, but the S22 tends to overheat, to the point where my pocket feels like an oven.

Fari, 19 Jun 2023It should be purchase or not???No. Look at another phone. This S22 has a very low quality. It loose signal, moments of freeze. Doesn't respond to comands. It's just a very low quality phone. I miss my P30 Pro.

Just bought brand new S22 today, after using Huawei nova 5t for 2 and a half yrs.
I must say that is looks very good for now, except the fact that battery drains pretty fast, and it gets very hot sometimes
