I have Japan variant of Galaxy S22 and battery life is average. For normal usage, it last 1 day max. But i use a Anker IQ 20W fast charger to charge this phone. From 15% to 85% it takes just 30min, so charging is fast

I want this size smartphone with 1440p screen and 12gb ram.

I have been using s22 for few days and it get abit warm but so do my iphone 13 pro. Battery have been good with 5-6 hrs screen on time. Use alot of whatsapp, viber, outlook and browsing through ig/ fb. Play about an hour of fifamobile and pes per day in total. So far im satisfied with my purchased.

The only advantage of the Iphone is that drains less battery on standby and light tasks, thanks to IOS, which is a lighter and more simple system compared to android (but its worse, less features). But still if you play very demanding games, the iphone battery drops like crazy.

Don't bother the battery life is appallingly bad. I am lucky to reach a full day. If you are a business man like me then look elsewhere.

I used to own a pixel 4a and I thought it had great battery life and the s22 is rated better.

There is no SD card slot there is no 3.5 mm headphone jack why bother to upgrade

Iphone 13 is also a small size compact phone but it has more significant battery life. just research for it you will find many videos at Youtube where you will see that Iphone 13 lasts much longer than S22 regular. SAMSUNG must work on their batteries, Do not get side for SAMSUNG on their foolish invention, @Nixxxon

And it always unlocks in a fraction of a second. It unlocks basically instantly for me. Every time. It was fast on the S21, but with the S22 it unlocks even faster.
For storage, I use cloud storage for everything. So even if they included an SD card slot, for slow storage, I wouldn't even use it. Since all my videos, pictures, and documents are uploaded to the cloud. And I only stream music instead of storing it locally. Even if there was an SD card slot for storage, it couldn't hold all my music. I have several Terabytes of music at home, so I only stream it over the internet to my phone. I have no desire to try and store it locally on a device. Except at home on a server.
