Where did so much criticism o... moreMost of those comments are anti samsung trolls that work for a competition brand.
They dont own the phone and they don't know what they are talking about, just trash talk and bad commenting, as simple as this.
Also, like, people complaining about lack of audio jack or microSD tray are nonsense, because thats the trend of the vast majority of flagships and the specs show it perfectly.
Having said that, the video may be deceptive since the older S21 modelrs may have one year of usage so the battery doesnt last as much as when they were new.
I know several people who owned both (S21 and S22) and all of them say S22 battery is marginally worse than S21, but still not bad.

Where did so much criticism of the s22 battery come from if this test shows that it is better than the s21 fe and even the praised s21?

Recently got this phone, and a few days in I'm very disappointed. The box contents were very bare - just the phone, a USB-C to USB-C cable, and a metal pin to release the SIM tray. No charger and no USB-to-3.5mm audio adapter. Quite skimpy for a supposed flagship phone costing €930. There are phones half the price that come with a full complement of accessories. To add insult to injury, the 3.5mm adapter I bought separately doesn't work - the phone just says USB accessory unsupported and no audio comes out. I hope I won't have to buy the overpriced Samsung-branded ones.
But the biggest disappointment is the battery life. It eats through battery like a laptop from the 1990s. Fresh out of the box, no apps installed, just going through the settings menus and doing light browsing, the phone was getting hot and losing 2% battery life every minute. It's calmed down a little now that I've turned on battery saver mode, losing 1% maybe every two minutes during use, but still barely makes it through the day. It even loses almost 10% sitting idle overnight.

New guy, 25 May 2022Bro how? Battery life is the only thing I don't like a... moreIt's not that he's a light user, its you that are a very heavy user. What do you do, 8-9 hours of phone usage every day? That's flat out insane addiction.
Regardless, if you use it that much, this phone is definitely not the one for you. This is a compact phone = can't have a very large battery...

solve 1 problem, 2 more show up. Have had it over a week. If you need earphones to hear don'b buy this one. It doesn't come with a jack for earphones. Hearings aids don't work very well. Nothing appears to be programmed for the hearing impaired. Would love my old phone back

Furkan, 27 May 2022Okay i know Samsung is better but i dont want 3700 mah is v... more??? The base Galaxy S model has never had a battery that large. I think the largest it ever had was a 4000mAh battery. I wouldn't expect that to ever change. You need to go up to the mid level Galaxy S phone for a battery capacity of 4500mAh.

I had my huawei p30 for 3+ years, and honestly i have no issue with it, its still working great, but i think its time I new phone cause the camera is broken. I'm thinking to get this, but the price is putting me off a bit. Is it worth the price? Or someone can recommend me a phone with a good camera. Thanx guys

Furkan, 24 May 2022i have Xiaomi 12 i love it Good for you. I had xiaomi before i bought s22. Comparing s22 is much more snappier and the batterylife is way better on s22 than the xiaomi phones i have been using past 5 years. Also Im not a fan of chinese communist government spying on me 24/7.

Mu7a, 24 May 2022U mean putting brightness to 30% to save battery No. The screensettings I use is all adaptive. The thing is Im not using 5G, not using always on display, not using search for device feature and foremost I have the latest update which increase batterylife by huge amount. Im also not a heavy user. S22 is not for heavy users. If you need 4-5 hours SOT per day you are completely lost in this forum. And by the way 4-5 hours SOT per day is very unhealthy.

But you could not pay me any amount of money to go back to using an ancient S10 again. Heck, or even using an S21 again. An S9 would be even worse and even more ancient.
Overall, my S22 has easily been better than the S21, S10, S8, and S6 Galaxy phones I have owned.

REX BRONZE, 25 May 2022Yes, agree with you.. the battery is horrible and sometime... moreI can't say I've ever run into that. In normal use I've had my S22 SD down to 5% before and it did not turn off.
The only time I've had my S22 turn off automatically was the two times I purposely ran it down until it shut off. And that happened at 1%.

Pricing was better too. There was some tech called variable apperture or something. Had a proper face unlock hardware too. But most people are too dumb to understand that.
