Here's my review after 4 weeks of using this phone. For the first two weeks of using it the phone would heat up and drain battery very quickly but thats actually caused by android 12's shitty optimizations. To fix this turn on bixby routines and use your phone like you would for the first 2 weeks and the phone should get better. Now im averaging 4hr30 to 5hr30 screen on time which for my usage is actually very good. Now for performance, i did play some pubgm on smooth extreme fps(comp settings) and it was really smooth and didnt heat up at all. And for the cameras is top tier. The display also is top tier. Overall id give this phone a 8/10.

They are actually an upgrade over the S21 and S21+ screens. What information are you looking at that makes you think the S22 and S22+ screens are downgraded?

They misled people into thinking the S22/22+ were LTPO (they're not), they downgraded the displays on the regular and plus models, they openly mocked Apple for removing accessories only to copy them, they paid trolls to bash HTC, GOS throttling, and probably more I'm forgetting.
        People should stop supporting these anti-consumer corporations but the average normie doesn't have the braincells to make such a discerning decision.

With s6 you could barely get a day and a half with everything enabled, and barely a day on alpha. But STILL somehow these were better. Here, everything is too demanding for that 3500 battery (3700 specs, REAL capacity is 3500 :( ) Even with all the limiters and throttlers put on.
          Since this phone came, I've seen like 95% of user reviews complaining about the battery.

That's why it gets a higher score on samsung, the optimisation is better on 3g and all the features disabled, BUT if you activate 5g and 120hz it's game over.

If I were to ever use a phone naked, I could not do it with the S22. Since it would easily slip out of my hand. And the naked S22 is not as comfortable in my hand as the S21 was. But since I use a case with every phone I have owned, it's not a big deal having the glass back on my S22.

                    And the screen resolution difference is no big deal for me. The S21 and S22 screen still does a superb job.

                    And the S22 is most certainly faster than the S20. Since the S22 is faster than the S21. And the S21 was faster than the S20.

                          S20 has better display quality. ( you know almoust 99% of the phone in screen). So if you throw your money you expect the best screen and S21 or S22 screen crealy isn t .
                          And not forget 12 gb ram instead of 8gb.

                            I used to upgrade my Galaxy S phones every two years. Now I upgrade every year. Because Samsung makes it so inexpensive to upgrade every year. This year only cost me $325 out of pocket. After trade in, credits, tax, and cash back. And for only $325 I got a 44mm Galaxy Watch 4 and a 256GB S22 unlocked. It was a sweet deal. Much better than what I got for my S21 that cost me $300 for the 256GB S21 unlocked and a few accessories.

                              I purchased a s22 5G phone in Singapore ( with Snapdragon) and I am totally disappointed. The phone is overheating constantly if I play, watching video or simply surfing on the net. Sometimes the Mario kart is lagging, I never noticed such a thing on my other phones... The battery time is awful compared to my previous phone which is a A52s 5G. I think the """"better"""" camera doesn't add me that extra so I will keep my previous phone instead. ♥️
                              This s22 is not really that flagship phone. Sorry. 😆

                                aaronwt, 31 Mar 2022No issues here in the US with Netflix and my Snapdragon S22.Glad to hear that the US version is better. Too bad Samsung decided that the European markets are not worthy of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. The Exynos version is just crap.

                                  I've had the phone for 3 weeks and the battery life is the same as it was on day 1 - terrible

                                  Ive come from using a Pixel 5 (yeah yeah I know lower tiered processor and 10% bigger but it has had 16 months of use) which would have 40-50% battery left after a average day as opposed to the S22 which has 15-25%

                                    According to my experience S20 5G has 5:30h screen on time, S22 has only 4:30h screen on time. Its very very bad because iPhone 13 mini has at least 6:30-7:00h screen on time.

If you think this series had bad batter you never had S6 when came out. Dude even with new battery when came out you had the charge him at lest 2 times on a day , most of days even 3 times. That was a mistake but still it was worth it for that display quality at that time.
                                      Now if you whant battery you can go to A or M series. S-series only ultra is the top dog Display quality , S21 , S22 plus or simple had only mid range display qualtiy.
                                      To use a big 6 inch screen with only 1080p straight to you face you can see that look premium. I don t care about a 15$ charger. I care about the screen .Why ? Because 99% perfect of the phone is screen , so probably i care about how much quality it has.
                                      This specs should be for a FE Edition or cheaper version , not for the sow call flagship.
                                      8gb ram and FHD 120hz screen chinse brand had on 300$.
