I got the phone last weekend (Storage 512GB;RAM 12GB). I had the Samsung Note 10+ 5G with the 512GB storage and 12GB RAM (the same as the S22). The S22 Ultra works considerably faster, But the battery drains faster.
The main issue is that the GPS IS NOT WORKING WELL. I understand Samsung admits that it has problem with the S22 based on Exynos CPU. I do not know if a software fix (including firmware update), can fix the issue, but without a fix, the device, as much as wonderull as it is, will not be usefull.

          If Samsung releases a $1200 phone, customers will expect quality and delivery of that price point. Some areas are great, some needs improvement. Here is my review having used the phone for about a month:

          Performance: [PASS] (SD version) Responsive, snappy, apps load fast, no complaints for daily usage. Charging is delightfully fast. I know Samsung is playing it safe with 45w after Note 7 explosions. Fingerprint sensor is very fast and accurate.
          Build Quality/Design: [PASS] The phone feels comfortable to hold, balanced, and the frame is very sturdy. Camera modules sit flush in a case and is level when placed on a table.
          Display: [SOLID PASS] Best in the market display. Resolution is crisp, and 120 hz make scrolling buttery smooth. Love the vibrant colors of AMOLED.
          Speakers: [IMPROVE] Tinny audio at high volume, low volume sometimes inaudible. This is 2022, more vibrant sounds are expected. S-pen housing should not impact the sound quality similar to previous Note line-up.
          Audio Output (BT): [SOLID PASS] Very clear audio once connected to Bluetooth headset. It may depend on the headset, but listening to music is enjoyable. Nice tuning.
          Camera: [SOLID PASS] Hard work went here. Images are vibrant and clear, night shots looks great.
          Battery: [IMPROVE] Oh dear. With a more demanding chipset, high rez and 120 Hz display, battery drains can be felt. LTPO does not help much. This issue is an issue with flagship phones lately. Optimizations are needed. Compared to 1080p phones with 5000mah, they have excellent battery life.
          S-Pen (Features): [PASS] Always nice to jot phone numbers in emergency or use S-Pen as a camera trigger.
          S-Pen build quality: [IMPROVE] For this price? A material like carbon fiber is better than plastic. Rubber grip is nice, but its not justified.

          Consider your usage. If you like Android and need latest high end performance, this phone might be for you. If you enjoy the Apple eco-system, iPhone can be the better option for money.

                I have been a Galaxy user since the Note3 with my work paying for a new phone every 2 years. Samsung is taking things away from phones instead of adding them. I used to have an IR blaster, a headphone jack, and expandable storage. The new S22 Ultra does not have any of these things and they sent me a chord that does not fit any of my boxes at home (USB C to USB C). Apple is not better but I left Apple 10 years ago because Samsung was adding things Apple did not. The phone does not seem any better than the S20 and the only reason I upgraded this time was a cracked screen and a fresh battery. Might be my last Samsung phone unless they turn things around.

                    No SD card slot = NOT a Note = NO BUY!
                    I'd rather ditch my favorite brand for my favorite feature: the SD card slot.
                    Another lost customer. Sorry Samsung.

                      actually i have S10+ and considering to buy the S22 Ultra,but there are many People who are very disappointed by the poor Camera.the Phone is just in 15 th or more in the dxomark site.

                      and ive seen Pictures of the Phone wich are very bad,myS10+ makes better Fotos.

                        Was very excited for this phone as a long time Note fanboy. Gotta say, after using it in the phone shop i work for, im not massively impressed. Performance is great but with the recent throttling scandal from Samsung and other manufacturers, id rather they update cooling systems that give us a chipset we can only use 60% to 70% of ya know?
                        Gorgeous design though, feels fantastic in the hand for myself (Mileage may vary). Definately an Ultra Premium device. Just wish theyd invest more money in cooling rather than give us a more powerful chipset every single year that we cant even fully use.
                        Id rather a new chipset every 2 years as long as the cooling and stabilization is improved.
                        For any Samsung superfan this phones a no brainer, ill pass myself though.

                            i have just received mine last week, and i can say that i am very impressed about everything, display, camera, sound, etc.to be funny for Apple user, not even IPHONE 20 will not dominate this monster.back to track now, its a really nice phone.i would recommend on top of any other device on the market right now.

                                    These S22 Ultra phones do not charge in usbpd 3.0 as advertised. I've tried 2 of them with Samsungs 45w charger that says it charges in 3.0. I spent hours dealing w/ Samsung and they can't figure it out.
