But if the only fact is to save files , or clouds things.. since android 4 or later devices support usb on the go. You just need a dongle and its easy to save your files on an usb key and transfert or your pc or other device. Simple!!

Does anyone know what the actual usable storage is on the 512GB S22 Ultra out the box? In my experience, the OS and other system files can take up to a quarter of the advertised storage so I'm hoping to use this info to decide between 512GB and 1TB (if it ever comes back in stock).

I was planning to get this phone
But i didn't feel the design in my hands it's very boring comparing to S21 ultra and Note 20 ultra
And no memory expansion
No charger + pins replacements + headphones
And very high price
I think will stick with my note 10+ for a while

The worse things on Exynos compare to Snapdragon are: 1. Image processing; 2. Stand-By consumption, to be precise the modem in Snapdragon version is FAR BETTER. This leads to that Samsung actually selling the phone with the same name (for ex. US vs Europe this year) which is not really true. The differences listed above are not present ONLY to this year Snapdragon vs Exynos models. This is something that has been a problem for years and makes a big difference whether we want to admit it or not. Also I'd like to add that difference, especially in battery department, is not so noticeable on the Ultra models since the batteries are huge in both cases. The problem is most noticeable on regular S model where the difference is huge, we can freely say that these are two completely different phones in the sense of using the same. Can you imagine how long the battery would last on Flip 5G in case that Samsung decided to put Exynos 990 instead of SD865? That would be tragic and they are very aware of that that's why we had this model only with Snapdragon processor on all markets.

And Yes, I have a 1 TB SD card too! Why? Because, like this I don´t need to go to my cloud to get the files I need, they are at my phone too (for offline use!). So, it's not a question of need by a question of "because we can". (mean...we could, not anymore!)

But mate just use it along side the SD version you will understand what others mean amd why everyone abuses Exynos. I have used Exynos on S9+ for more than 3 years and it sucks as compared to SD version. The biggest problem is battery, how much you get out of it.

EePee, 27 Feb 2022I would like someone to explain to me and i hope its civili... moreBecause mate, having an SD card is much more economical then the storage given to us on phones + it's lot easier to simply take it out and put it on other phones/devices whereas copying and sharing between devices is often more time consuming and irritating as compared to have an SD. I prefer SD over internal.
