This is barely different to the s21 apart from the small design changes and s-pen intergration. The soc failed to meet expectations and it lacks sd card, 4m waterproofing, dual punch hole camera for TOF. The s10 has more feature than it

One the first reviews of the exynos 2200 show that the gpu does have lower peak performance but sustained performance and not much heat looking more promising
3d Mark wild life extreme shows 73%stability and a flat lines when looking at the 8g1 gpu the throttled number Is pretty much around the same if not slightly less

Is the screen on this monster flat or that around the corner type.

Hardly any phones with under-display cameras exist, and of them none are cheap. There's almost zero in-bezel cameras anymore so I can't even go with an option similar to the Meizu 16s Pro.

Oh and of the 7 phones with under-display cameras in existence, only 3 are faster than the Redmi K40 I got for $400 almost a year ago. Yet none are remotely close to that price.

"Plenty of phones" is among the worst ways you can choose to describe the current smartphone market. Innovation has died. In the past 2 and a half years there's been zero major advancements except for the under-display camera technology that has not been developed due to innovation being dead. Every phone is the same overpriced garbage nowadays apart from maybe 3 or 4 different phone models.

The phone i am using to type this is 125 time smaller(in terms of space) than this phone. Appreciate what you have in life.

This has nothing to do with this phone.

But when does Samsung release their mid range smartphones? What part of the year I mean

I like the design (apart from the hideous hole) but hate the SoC, charging speed and price.

I was a long time Samsung note user. My last Samsung phone was the S8+. I'm finally back having ordered a S22 ultra 512GB yesterday. Samsung Australia say it will be posted on the 3rd of March. With the pre order I got a free 65
Watt charger, wireless car Dock and leather case. Not including a charger (after pre orders) with a AU$2000 device is pretty poor! Even the chargers don't come with cables 🙁

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 is a power guzzler. I would not recommend buying any phone with it. The 888 and 865 are better.

Compare the Note 20 with the S22 Ultra and the improvements in the latter are blatantly obvious. I just bought the s22 ultra and I'm very happy with my decision. One more thing, keep in mind that this is a professional device that serves as a phone as well as a workhorse. If all you need is a simple phone then the s22 ultra is too much phone for your needs!
