More like the successor of galaxy Note 20 ultra, rather of galaxy s21 ultra. Then why they call it s22 ultra? It is 100% a note.

S21 and A52 5G have same spec display of 1080p and 120 Hz and AMOLED, however it is obvious the S21 display quality is higher, the A52 5G will have some rainbow effect at near-horizontal angle whereas S21 won't. Do you really think you are getting same display on S-series and A-series, of course not! However, the A52 5G still has a great display overall, but I agree S-series should all have 1440p, maybe give the ultra 2160p and bump regular and plus to 1440p.

I don't care for flashy cameras and nonsense like that. All I care about is the power of the phone and what Nintendo switch games I can play on it free of charge.

Maledictus, 28 Jan 2022Worst cameras than s20 ultra, no simcard slot,. no advance ... morethis is true. after s20 ultra, cameras on samsung phones have become worse. and s22 ultra seems to follow the same concept. 108mp main, which makes night photos bad because of smaller pixels, tele lens moderate and ultrawide with 12mp and no pixel binning. additionally, the distortion on s21 ultra was awful. i was walking with two friends of mine, one had the s21 ultra, he made a full body photo (with main lens) of the two of us. our faces looked distorted as if one half of our face had melted.

S21 has mid range display and only 8gb of ram. So they are not in the same league. I also prefer compact phone but S21 doesn t worth it. S20 5g is much better and even cheaper.
But if some people prefer Big screen then S21 Ultra is for them.
