Why is my Samsung S22 Ultra showing a yellow shade horizontally on the right side along the selfie camera after this month (2gb) update.

When I take shots of human subjects from a fair distance and zoom in to look for details the pics look so distorted as if taken from a VGA camera so grainy and cartoomish that it doesn't look taken from a top tier flagship phone. I took so many shots of my nephew but didn't show it to anyone or even dared to upload it. I bought this phone mainly for camera but I must say that camera on this phone is below average which is highly disappointing!!

Sam, 08 Sep 2023I haven't faced any such issues on mine, I normally do... moreMy previous phone, from BBK Electronics company (I don't name it is pointless), a Chinese phone, never slowed down, never glitched, only restart was when updates were available, usually uptime of phone was always to 900+ hours, I never factory it in 1 year and 5 months and Android 13 update from 12. Is weird how a big company like Samsung cannot make their phones and system stable, every 1-2 weeks I had to restart it because it was slowing down like a low cost phone, not 1 mil Antutu score and AMD graphics. I am very frustrated because I paid a lot of money for nothing, to hear from support factory reset whatever glitches were, 0 troubleshooting, and standard procedural replies with 0 value, they were repeating same procedures like parrots. I'm not a hater or a fanboy, I used phones from different companies, I was even a beta tester for Xiaomi flagships in the past. A friend of mine who has normal S22 had the same issues so multiple devices were affected.

That's why I only update when it is necessary, and I factory reset when I update to remove junk files that was left behind and fix some glitches. I don't factory reset if it is just a security patch. To know if it is an update or just a security patch, take a look at the PDA number. If the letter at the 8th (after the XX in S908EXXS) is "S", it is just a security patch. If it is "U", then it is an update.

After 2nd August update I experienced signal drops and closing of calls. 4 updates ago my phone was crashing and restarting randomly, they fixed and now I got this. Support's answer is basically factory reset. I sold it and my experience with Samsung stopped here, is last Samsung phone for me.

Finally received the August update today of over 2 GB it's a huge update but there's nothing new added, I was expecting the 2x portrait option in the camera settings but it isn't there, just got the Galaxy store & expert raw update after that.
