Can someone tell me which android version and ui version s22 ultra is in because i've never had any software update since i bought this phone and it tells me it is in android 14 UI 6.0 and android security patch level of april 2024 and someone tell me where is voice recorder in s22 ultra... can i get help with this

The phone's current software version and all major OS updates are part of the device's system partition, which is preserved during a factory reset.
The phone will retain the last major Android OS and One UI version you had installed.

Used S22 ultra on and off for a while. Snapdragon variant has a better battery life than exynos. My device clocked around 5-6 hours of usage.Great Device but i just don't like samsungs camera on third party apps like snapchat etc other than that those who are looking for a device with Great display and decent camera can go for this. I normally do a factory reset after major updates to keep it running smoothly also have enabled restart schedule when needed (which happens late at night when you're not using your phone). I watch lot of YouTube videos and things run butter smoorth

For me, I don't play games on my phone but I do watch lot of YouTube videos, web browsing, Whatsapp calls, some casual games at times & it doesn't overheat yeah it gets a bit warm while using the camera but that's common with all phones. Overall the performance is great on this phone, it's blazing fast in downloading and opening apps.

I hope it doesn't happen again actually I was completely shocked seeing the lens glass coming off. Since I use my phone with a skin so I had those lens protectors to save the cameras getting scratched but little did I know that it could become even worse. No lens protectors ever again now I got a case with individual camera cut outs, phew!!

What of overheating issues

For the camera lens glass coming off. Why did it happen in the first place as this is flagship phone with sturdy build quality and this shouldn't have happened. I've an A34 as my secondary phone & I've applied camera lens protector on its cameras and have even replaced them 2-3 times without any issues but I was shocked to see the original glass coming off on a more expensive device. This is beyond my imagination although I've fixed it somehow but I'm worried about the water resistant thing.

Like what issues can I expect ... moreStill a very good phone to buy even today, it'll get Android 16 which, unfortunately, will be its last major update. Cameras are really good, in fact the last Ultra to have 10x optical zoom. The battery life is ok nothing to write home about, I get around 5-6 hours of SoT minus gaming. Overall I like this phone and wish to keep it for another couple of years.

Yes this camera lens coming off on S22 Ultra happened with me last week while removing the lens protector the original glass just came off and my heart was in my mouth as I haven't faced any such issue in the past on any of the phones I've used. There were actually 2 lens glass that came off one was the top most (ultra wide) the other was the smaller one on the right (3x telephoto). I somehow managed to put them back and luckily after that things are normal. I'm not gonna use any lens protector from now on!!

I had those camera lens protectors on my S22 Ultra, I thought of removing them today as I was in the process of removing them, the original camera glass on 3X telephoto lens came out with the camera lens protector. I managed to fix it back somehow but is it that loose to come out so easily?
