I read some AI features might come to the S22 series after all, for what it's worth, personally I don't care much about it. The S24 Ultra didn't convince me at all when I got it in my hands 1,5 week ago.

I had the exynos version & never had any issues with the battery life or heating. The design was a standout and was very comfortable to hold cause of the rounded edges although it'll get only one more year of update but still a very good buy even in 2024. I watched some videos of it compared to the latest S24 Ultra and it outperformed it in many situations in terms of camera.

Also the performance difference between the S21 ultra and S22 ultra is unnoticeable along with the fact that S21 ultra snapdragon 888 soc doesn't get as hot as the S22 ultra's snapdragon 8 gen1 soc

I've both hard and soft cases for my S22 Ultra and I keep on changing them quite often and since it has a boxy design (which I love) all cases look great on it. As far as speakers are concerned I use Bluetooth speakers/headphones with it so it's not a concern, ringtones/alarm/notification tones sound loud enough though.

The top frame of the phone is made of thin layer of aluminium. When you put the phone in a case, it will leave marks and scratches also, mainly because of this issue. Please also reviewers of other buyers, on other e-commerce pages. The sound quality is the lowest in terms of performance, compare to any other Ultra series. These are the main problems that buyers are experiencing. Overall score of satisfaction... 40 percent...

With the A55 release even a midranger is on the same level of software support as a 2 year old flagship. We're going forward step by step.

it's a very good phone, in fact it's a very great phone.
yesterday I was at the retail store, trying the S24 Ultra. Feeling is not as premium as the S22 Ultra. Partly due to the lack of a curved display. It feels slightly thinner.
my experience with S24 Ultra and what's all new about it? Well, not much. It is definitely not worth to buy S24 Ultra if you have S22 Ultra, I would even dare to say it's not worth if you have S21 Ultra.
nowadays flagships are so good that you can easily go forward with it for 4/5 years. I would say as long as security updates go. There is only 1 thing and that is built in batteries. Fairphone 5 might not be a flagship but with a IoT chip it's futureproof for updates, and you can switch battery if needed.
in my opinion only a battery withholds a flagship phone for using it 6/7 years without problem.
S22 Ultra is in my opinion atm a better option than S24 Ultra.

Yesterday, I've spent the entire day outside, snapping family photos, streaming music, using navigation - by bed time I was left with 25% and 4h30m screen on time. Most of useless social media apps are in Deep Sleep (love the feature) and I am using the phone on 120Hz 1440p at all times. From my usage, 4G/5G doesn't seem to make much difference.

In love with this phone!!! Don't care about the AI features on the S24 ultra as I can use the Bixby feature to find same products rather than circle them, I can use Bixby to translate text for me in my language titanium frame doesn't fascinate me as I use a slim case which makes the phone lighter. I used it to take over 150 pics on a single charge and still had over 50% juice left for the next day. So I'm extremely happy with my S22 Ultra ❤️❤️
