Do 8.9mm thickness bothers u to those who own this s22u? Man a flagship with this thick is unforgivable..don't make excuse for bigger battery, note 10 plus 4.4k mah still performs well

Can anyone confirm that the SM-S9080 version has 2 physical SIM slots? I'm not bothered about eSIM.

I would like to see S22 Ultra Lite, lesser specs and display but with S-Pen and cheaper. I have Note 10 Lite it's a great fone and it was cheaper than Note 10 and Note 10+.

Got December security update on my S22 Ultra. No huge improvements or new features but phone feels a bit smoother and snappier.

SteveUk, 13 Dec 2022The latest iPhones dont have things like removable battery,... moreThat's what I am saying. It's not Android vs Apple, at this point it's Android vs iOS. There are little differences you get with phone features anymore, but Android is becoming more and more restrictive like iOS, so there are less reasons to recommend Android to the average user, when they would probably just have less stress with an iPhone.

And all I had to do to set up my S21U was delete some of pre-installed apps I didn't need and set my preferences (wallpaper, ring-tone, notifications etc)... as you would with any new phone. 🤷‍♂️

I have just replaced my S21 5G (Dual Sim + esim) (had failing battery) with a new S22Ultra 5G (Dual Sim), but have now discovered that there is only 1 nano Sim tray + esim now included in Samsung's flagship phone, so not fit for my purpose.
Note that the box shows 2 x IMEI, and some regions DO get a dual sim card tray, but this is not clear from the box or the seller! Beware if this is important.

I like how so many techtubers bash the SE3 for the outdated design but then turn around and praise the latest iPhone when they generally looked the same since the X. This drives the interest and prices of the SEs down. So I buy them dirt cheap while they're in pristine condition and I either use them or trade them in to get $1000 bill credits to use on a Samsung Ultra or foldable.

Paul, 11 Dec 2022Regretted getting this, I switched back to iPhone after try... moreI used to recommend Android to everyone I knew until they started removing everything such as a replaceable battery, headphone jack, expandable storage, IR blasters, Android 12, etc. I know they just removed SIM cards in USA iPhone 14 models, so I sadly expect that Android phones will follow.

Enjoy your iPhone, which is practically bloatware-free out of the box with minimal setup except disabling telemetry and stuff. That's it. You don't need to do literally 1000 things on an iPhone that you do with an Android in order to make it usable and not a catalog full of ads and garbage. If I had a choice, I would get an iPhone SE 2022 because it has a proper rectangular, non-curved, notchless screen and a home button.

Anonymous, 10 Dec 2022Just buy a bigger internal storage phone then deal with it!... moreI can put more storage in my A52s for less than you have to pay for a 1tb phone if you are lucky to find stock in your favorite color. The funny thing is that no matter what, my cheaper phone will beat your more expensive flagship in total storage size while it's a smaller phone overall and you have to carry a USB-C to Micro SD or something bigger. Can't imagine paying so much money to not even have something as simple as that be included in your phone.

Moto-moto, 12 Dec 2022what do you mean, is it fast or laggyYou'll see it stutter, with brief pauses and hangs on the way. It's split second stuff, but enough to make things feel like the unit is struggling to keep pace, which can't possibly be the case. The same process on Pixel/iPhone gives a fast, smooth scroll and adds a much more polished feel to their respective handsets. It's a minor thing, but once you've noticed it and/or tried the same operation on a different handset, you can't un-notice it again.

Blaviken, 11 Dec 2022You made me laugh, imagine Ultra lagging and restarting it ... moreTake your Samsung S22 Ultra, find a big web page or Social Media site where there's a long page to scroll down on. Flick you finger fast as you can to scroll down to the bottom of the page, then compare this with either a Pixel (anything from a 4a onwards) or an iPhone. It's a horrible, glitchy, laggy experience on the Samsung, and for sure it's not the processor as that is state of the art, it's about how they've made one UI perform. Trust me I really don't like Apple, but Samsung totally dropped the ball with their UI UX. They could and should address this for the next iteration of One UI as it will drive up their sales for sure. For me a Premium handset needs to feel like a premium handset, simple benchmarks are just numbers and mean nothing in the real world, it's how a device feels to use and looks in the hand that people really care about.
