KevinPhoenix, 15 Aug 2022To those wanting the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, there are a ... moreTry S21 ultra. It also has all those great features and can be held with one hand without it slippering out from your hands. It performs faster than this S22 ultra.

Asyl, 16 Aug 2022water heaterAre you obsessed with water heaters or something? It shows in all of your comments. Maybe you should buy a Philips water heater for around 20 dollars, they are reliable and good. Some are even stylish to match your kitchen.

Anonymous, 10 Aug 2022And what's so much that you are missing in S22 Ultra w... moreprobably ubdates :))

To those wanting the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, there are a few things to keep in mind so that you know you're getting the best out of this smartphone. First off, there's no denying that the S22 Ultra is currently (about the) best that Samsung has to offer...no denying it. Its specs are top notch, the cameras are highly versatile and the display is gorgeous.

That being said, as someone who is planning to trade in his S22 Ultra for the Z Flip 4 (yes, I know many of you would say that's a downgrade in some respects, but hear me out), I'm here to help you consider the following before actually committing to buying this; things many of you may not consider...kind of like I did before typing this review. lol

One, the S22 Ultra is a very large slab and even medium-sized (adult) hands are going to struggle a bit to hold it with one hand. It's noticeably heavy, slick and your hand will stretch a bit to grasp it securely. For most of you, you'll surely want to put a case on it. This will make it less likely to slide out of your grasp. However, it'll of course add a bit more weight and bulk to the phone depending on which case you use. If you want to own the S22 Ultra; expect to carry around a heavy phone that'll, more often than not, require two hands to use comfortably and securely.

Two is the cameras. As I said, I'm not denying that the cameras themselves are a reason to give pause to buying the S22 Ultra. Rather, I'm asking just what it is you wish to use the cameras for and how often. If you're a casual user like myself, you may use the cameras to take a picture here and there as the situation warrants. But on a day-to-day use, you likely won't be using those cameras all that often. At most, you'll likely use them for several shots on trips, vacations and the like. But unless you're a dedicated photographer taking many specific and detailed pictures both near and far, your range of snapshots will likely (yes, I realize I'm using the word "likely" a lot here, but what can I say?) be limited to selfies and standard pictures of others. And even when taking pictures of outdoor scenery; unless there's some distant object that you absolutely must get a clean shot of, you're only going to be using the main wide angle camera anyway and not the telephoto lens, something that would be said of most other Samsung phones out there. So bottom line, unless you're the kind of person who take lots of photos on a frequent basis and expects the highest possible quality out of all of them, the average person isn't going to care as much if the shooter is of a more moderate quality.

Finally, there's the S Pen. I'll be honest, in my time with the S22 Ultra, I hardly ever used it like I thought I would. A lot of the time, I'd forget it was even there. While it's certainly a nice built-in accessory to have with a phone of the S22 Ultra's caliber, you may find that wanting it and having it are two completely different things. Try to really think on if you'll actually be using that S Pen a lot once you have this phone. Otherwise, it'll end up just being another seldom used phone feature that'll ultimately go to waste.

So in conclusion, if you're someone who wants the best of the best and is intent on putting all of that best to good use (and has large hands), then by all means, the S22 Ultra is king! However, with a phone like this, you need to think carefully on the type of phone user you really are. If you just want a phone that has a good display that won't disappoint, takes good enough pictures in your opinion, doesn't feel like you're holding a thin brick in your hand, and has dimensions that make it easy to handle both one and two-handed, then the S22 Ultra will quickly feel like overkill and a waste of your money once you have it. In my case, I'm trading mine in for the Z Flip 4 because it looks fresh and innovative and I'm completely aware of the features that'll be technically a downgrade from what's on the S22 Ultra. But I'm 100% okay with that.

Just think carefully before buying this beast of a phone, because it is a LOT of phone to handle and just because you CAN doesn't always mean you SHOULD.

Well the battery saving mode still kinda heats up the phone, don't get me wrong this is an amazing phone, just it could get a bit hot, cases are definitely a requirement. Overall some of the bloatware are deletable, and battery cap at 85% for saving is decent for longer life, and the duribility is sweet I slept on top of this phone like multiple times and zero bent or crack, maybe because I have a screen protector and a case, but yup as a boy who grew up using Samsung on5 this right here would've been a dream back then.
