Guys, can anybody elaborate how to calculate the screen on time (SOT) for this phone? The SOT fig that it is giving is only for the day (same like iphone) and not since the last recharge (which I am getting in my OnePlus). Is there any tricks that I am missing here?

Yes, I upgraded from S20FE and its definitely an upgrade in all areas like Camera, Battery, Performance etc.

SM-S916U - Excellent flagship phone. Handles anything you can throw at it, including the floor. No sign of banana blur yet. Great battery life. Wish there was a 3.5mm jack, though.
Back panel is made of aluminum, not glass!

I'm interested in gaming, and I ... moreIf you want large screen with good pixels then go for S22 Ultra as it have WQHD Display, large screen and more pixel density but its Processor is not good and it will heat too while gaming as for S23 Plus it have FHD screen with less pixel density and its advantage is its Prcoessor which will give you no shutters and also keep your phone cool while gaming. Both have their advantages in gaming its up to you what you will choose. I would suggest you to wait for one more month as S24 launch is near and then S23 ultra price may come down.

I'm interested in gaming, and I prefer the screen to be somewhat large, even though it strains my hands a bit. I'm used to the size of the S21 Ultra, so I'm afraid the S23 Plus screen might be small for gaming, and I'm concerned about pixel size as well. Is there really a significant difference in the gaming experience between the S23 Plus and is it significantly more powerful than the S22 Ultra?

And i've read Samsung will use the same camera in S24+, so let's wait and see if it gets better. The S23 Ultra is great but too expensive, too big and too heavy. So obviously my phone next year won't be a Samsung.

In S23 Plus you will get best in class Processor, best battery life, good in weight and size with better overall Experience. It's your choice so choose wisely.

I don't even want to see that phone anymore..

Hi, I'm looking to replace my S21 Ultra. I'm currently torn between the S22 Ultra and the S23 Plus, as the S23 Ultra is still quite expensive. What do you think is the best choice? Is there a significant difference in speed and user experience between the Snapdragon Gen 1 and Gen 2?

neo, 24 Nov 2023We have a FB group and even though they acknowledged the co... moreScanning a lot of documents is why i did not buy the S23+...hoping the S24+ will get a fix at last.
Only solution i know of is to shoot with the zoom x2 or x3, and the picture should be clear on the edges.
But to frame a document correctly you will have to lift the phone higher, so it is difficult to look at the screen and hard to keep the phone steady at the same time. Worth a try though.
