What I understood from your message is that S23 Plus is having a better battery back up ( I am not talking about battery capacity which is very obvious by looking at the difference of 4700 mAh over 3900 mAh) in spite of have having larger size but lesser ppi. One thing I would like to know is whether it satisfies my requirement of more than 24 hours of running time (not SOT) between the recharges with moderate usage ( i.e. no games, almost nil camera usage etc). If yes, then it is good to go.

Anonymous, 27 Oct 2023Why s23 base is more popular than plus variant?It all comes down to price. Thats why the a series sells the most with samsung even when compared to the s-series and z-series. Also the plus is the "middle child" and consumers typically prefer phones on either extreme ends (smallest and cheapest (s23) vs biggest and most expensive (s23 ultra))

Hi guys. Need a very basic information. For a person who does not play games, does not use the camera except for taking a few pics here and there (and that too, as an amateur), but very particular about sound quality and display, watches lot to Youtube videos and OTT movies and listens to lot of songs, is present in social media like FB and X, reads Kindle books and online newspapers on daily basis, which phone is better- S23 or S23 Plus? S23 Ultra is not considered for its size. Battery life of the phone is the most important factor and it should last minimum 24-36 hours before next recharge. The phone will be kept for 2 years before further replacement.

Short lifespans and horrible read/write speeds compared to ufs and even emmc storage. If microsd cards had actual improvements like ufs then it would be great to use with flagship phones.

I've been using them for many, many years without any issues. On the otherhand though, when I used SD cards in my cell phones. I did have one die/get corrupted and I lost everything on it. Fortunately, everything was also backed up in the cloud. I swore off using SD cards after that.
