I cant believe that the samsung galaxy A33 has a higher battery capacity.

Furkan, 28 Feb 2023but in 1-2 years battery will be dead fast lolI still have a J7 Prime which runs fine for daily tasks and the battery hasn't been changed till date.

Furkan, 28 Feb 2023but in 1-2 years battery will be dead fast lolWhy? Because you don't like the phone?
Previous Samsung S phones don't have any battery degrading issues as long as you look after the phone, so why should this one? If anything, the batteries will last longer because I only need to charge my S23+ every 2nd day, so less frequent charging = longer battery health.

Perfect & balanced phone not big like ultra not small like s23. Camera is decent nothing matters if its 200 mp or 50 mp. Output should be fine i am happy with this purchase.no heating display is superb sound is great batree decrease speed is very slow even whole on night only 2 percent down perfect 👌

Went from S21+ to S23+. This phone is way better than what I expected it to be. The performance is top notch, no lags whatsoever in heavy games (thanks to the new Snapdragon chip, the better cooling system, and new software features such as being able to pause charging the battery when gaming and plugged in), which I can't say the same for S21+. The camera was a decent upgrade and the battery is incredibly good. Overall, no complaints with this phone at all. Will probably keep this until S26.

Furkan, 28 Feb 2023but in 1-2 years battery will be dead fast lolThat wasn't the case with previous Galaxy S phones. So why is the S23 line different?

Upgraded from an S22 to this S23+ today. This is a bloody awesome phone, I'm so impressed. It's unbelievably efficient and the S22's noticeable lag (particularly when taking photos) is gone, even Bluetooth audio sounds clearer and more immersive. The change was well worth it, it feels premium in every way and I won't have to upgrade for a number of years at this rate. No more charging required when I'm out and about and I didn't realise how much I missed the bigger screen.

vatten, 25 Feb 2023Just upgraded from S10+ to S23+ today. The camera posit... moreI hated the curved screen with my S10. I was so glad when Samsung went back to flat screens for most of the Galaxy S models.

The curved screen, to me, makes it feel gimmicky and cheap. It reduced the amount of screen space I could use, and I never used any of the features with the curved screen part.

Aside from the size of the Ultra, the curved screen is the main reason I did not want to get an Ultra Galaxy S series.

I wish the features of the Ultra were brought down to the plus version, with a flat screen. That would be the perfect phone for me. And would be more enjoyable to use than a phone with a curved screen.

Just read the Xiaomi 13 Pro review and WOW

Scamsung 393ppi display vs Xiaomi 13 Pro 522ppi display!

                        Not even a competition!

Just upgraded from S10+ to S23+ today.

The camera position is centered and more balanced in S10+, and the flat and lower resolution display on S23+ gives a feeling of cheap. S23+ is 20g heavier, with only sightly bigger screen

Measured with a vernier scale, S23+ is 7.8mm thick, thinner than S10+'s 8mm, but it actually feel thicker, since it does not have curved screen edge.

Volume button moved to the same side as power button, makes button combination press more awkward. S23+ does not have 3.5mm jack, which unfortunately can not fit the best Active Noise Cancelling earphone QC20 (wireless earphones do not work on airplane movies, so they are useless for the scenario that you need ANC the most)

So if purely judging from outside, S10+ is better in almost every aspect

The improvement of S23+ is all inside: Much faster processor and 120Hz refresh display, thus much smoother scrolling. App launches almost instantly, and network capability is also improved.

Anonymous, 24 Feb 2023Why does plus get less battery than base ??? It doesn't. The S23+ has a 4700 mAh battery. The S23 has a 3900 mAh battery.
And the S23 Ultra has a 5000 mAh battery.

Either from one of my Plex servers at home. Or from a music streaming service. With Youtube, I will always stream that as well.

I can do this because I typically have cell service 99.99% of the time.

If I wanted to play music from the cloud storage, I might as well stream from a platform like Spotify or SoundCloud.

aaronwt, 23 Feb 2023I use three cloud storage services for backup. Google, Micr... moreThat's great, but paying for three cloud services gets expensive, and both the cloud and home server require internet connection.

For short-term purposes such as a vacation, two cloud services are enough, because each cloud service is unlikely to fail within the days that a vacation lasts.

Internet connection is restricted at some locations such as hotels due to a router that does not cover the entire building or because too many people use the limited bandwidth, or it might be slow to begin with, meaning synchronizing gigabytes of 8K footage becomes impractical.

Cellular reception could be weak as well, and cellular data could be expensive, especially abroad.

Some people, including myself, are also not comfortable with sharing every personal photo I make with big corporations like Google, so we would have to auto-sync to a home server through Syncthing or whatever exists out there.

I don't think MicroSD is better or worse than cloud storage, just different. And more options are preferable.
