Jumping from an A52 5G would be worth the S23+ (Size preference) or should i keep mine?. Uses would be FB, Twitter, YT, GAMES (Maybe even hardcore ones), PHOTOS AND 1080p60FPS or even 4K60FPS videos

Neph, 08 Feb 2023I am testing S23 3rd day and comparing it to my current S20... moreI'm considering getting this later this year (probably), may i ask how's the battery life currently? Are there any software issues or heating issues? I know it's still learning your usage pattern but i'm just curious.
I don't really care about cameras, i don't use them at all so that's a bonus for me lol.

Issamh, 08 Feb 2023Hi mates.......the S23 is it a good upgrade over my S10e...... moreIgnore everyone who replied to you, i'll give you a very honest advice.
S10e is an ancient phone right now, it's not bad at all but it's old. S23 is a very great choice for a upgrade, i tested S23 a little bit 2 days ago and if that phone doesn't have any issues standing turned on all day in a store, i can only imagine how great it is when you're using it personally.
Now you get basically everything better in S23, better display, better security (ultrasonic fingerprint over button one), way way way better chipset, better battery life, better cameras etc. If you choose S23, you will not make a mistake at all.
Now i saw someone suggesting you a Pixel 7 phone, not a bad choice but it has Samsung based chipset which is basically exynos so it's a hard no in my opinion. Don't make a mistake, get S23.

The S23 just came on the market, and the S20 has been on the market for a hundred years. The S20 wasn't great either when it first came out.

Anonymous, 07 Feb 2023I wish there was an option for a mid-range compact phone. There's the motorola edge 30 neo. Not super compact at 6.28in screen size but smaller than most phones nowadays.

Retsuya, 08 Feb 2023It depends. The reason why there's still wired cable n... moreIn addition, wireless headphones are yet another device that adds to the chore of charging, whereas wired headphones are driven from the smartphone.
Just because wired headphones are "decade-old technology" doesn't mean they have no practical use. If "old" means practical and "new" means restricted and locked-in and more maintenance-dependent, I'd pick "old" any day of the week.

Anonymous, 06 Feb 2023It is already enough. Stop crying and use wireless earbuds.... moreIt depends. The reason why there's still wired cable needed is when you play the game in S23 that needs precision timing, like rhythm game for example.
I've also planned to use this S23 to play rhythm games like Groove Coaster etc.
If using wireless, the delay will affect the skill to play the game. Yes I can set the delay offset for wireless, but some rhythm games aren't available for perfect timing using wireless.
This is Y, the best solution on this case is: Wired earphone/headphone.

I am testing S23 3rd day and comparing it to my current S20.
Photos are mostly better on S20 (!). S23 photos are noisy and way oversharpened. A lot of oversharpening artifacts makes the image look artificial and just bad. However, at darker areas there are a lot more details preserved on S23, though a lot of noise is there as well. Unfortunately, this doesn't make me feel S23 is better at photos, I still prefer S20's images.
I am also disappointed on the tele lens. I was expecting it to be a fairly big upgrade over S20's fake zoom, but it turned out that the difference is indeed there, but not that big I was expecting. S20's fake zoom is really nearly as good as optical S23's. Bigger difference is at dusk and night, but not that big I was expecting. At bright daylight S20's fake zoom is preserving more details at higher zoom ranges (!), although the overall image looks better on S23.
After first day I was literally about to return S23 and stay with S20 for another year.
But the next day I started playing around with videos, stabilization and this is where I was totally surprised. S23 is a HUGE improvements in this area. Videos at dusk and night looks like from a different decade when comparing to S20. Stabilization and especially the clarity and details on these videos surprised me most. This is a HUGE improvement, really. Thumbs up for that Samsung - I was not expecting THAT big improvement.
If photos are to be fixed by software updates (I believe so), I guess I will stay with this S23 for another 4-5 years.

Samsung just pulled another apple.
Practically the same phone, with a +1 number in the title.
Yes, yes, the storage is faster, but did you honestly need that? Was the previous one "slow"?
