aaronwt, 19 Jan 2023But the newer versions of Android don't need more RAM.... moreDude the point is not if it is enough or not four you. The point is S-series were supose to be flagships. I understand that you can t improve everything. But the biggest problem is when you downgrade you specs to the same class devices. If you put lower screen quality and less ram on the same class device why on earth will you buy this device ? I know people who buyed S21 and S22 and not evem one of them knew this things because they don t use it. They only buy because it is the new thing. But what about people who cared about specs?
It is that imposible to buy a decent size smartphone with high end features ? QHD screen and 12gb ram ?

Looks like the phone is slightly bigger than S22. I was really hoping for a smaller frame. I miss compact, handy phones.

I was really looking for the S23 6.1 inch size, however the battery size ruined it once again.

Mr. Anonymous, 19 Jan 2023I bet it will sell better than S22.No about same if not less I’m thinking as S22 will be brought cheaper. Battery bit bigger but i double dealbreaker. Prefer S22 camera design myself though

If cost $1380.00 AUD glad i got my S22 for 900 new

Howcome Sony can fit a 5000mah battery in a 6 inch phone but Samsung can't in a 6.1 inch phone? Even the likes of Asus and the 5.9 inch zenphone 8 had a 4000mah and the 9 has a 4300mah battery. Not acceptable anymore really.

newflesh, 19 Jan 2023Oh, Samsung.. no headphone jack = no buyI can't even remember the last time I used a headhone jack. I've been using wireless Bluetooth headsets for eleven or twelve years now. I would never go back to using a wired headphone with a cellphone or tablet.

Mr. Anonymous, 19 Jan 2023It's not the same, S22 had 3600, S23 has 3900. Switchi... moreI don't know about 60% more battery life. But it will definitely have longer battery life than the S22 has. Between a newer, more efficient SoC (Snapdragon 8 Gen 2), TSMC making it, and a 200mAh larger battery. (The S22 has a 3700mAh battery. And the S23 will have a 3900mAh battery)

When new android ve... moreBut the newer versions of Android don't need more RAM. 8GB is way more than enough. Even my Tab S7 FE tablets , with 4GB of RAM, have no problem running the current version of Android. They run perfectly fine. Even when I compare them to my Tab S8 and Tab S8+ tablets I own. Which both have 8GB or RAM. Just like my S22 has. And what my S23 or S23+ will have.
