Jekica, 06 Aug 2024Hi! Do you recommend buying this phone for 400e? S23 is ove... moreThe s23 already has a bad battery, and since it's used, I'd recommend you avoid it, the fe is almost as good with a better battery, but if you are a light user, the s23 would be a better fit, in my case (a heavy user), the fe is better (I'm currently saving up to buy it), hope this helps.

Hi! Do you recommend buying this phone for 400e? S23 is over my budget, but i am considering buying second hand s23 for 400e, is there any way to check battery health on used phone and would you recommend buying new s23fe or used s23 for the same price?
S23 fe looks pretty good , but i am scared of that battery life and overheating that everyone is mentioning. I am not heavy gamer, but i would not like if phone is overheating when using camera or social media , and i am intrested if phone can keep up through the day with moderate usage of youtube, social media, camera etc.
Thanks for the help in advance!

As mentioned below, This is an underrated phone which can offer significant benefits compared to other handsets in the same price range, Especially in NA, where you can get the SD-8 version. Never see a NA complaint about overheating or battery issues... When the average temperature in your country is an unsustainable 45C and you are using your phone for everything, instead of getting a gaming / production PC/Mac, don't be surprised too much.
Show us another $350- phone with an actual optical zoom lens, IP68 waterproofing and wireless charging, Dex and more..

Battery life is very subjective and varies person to person.
After all the software updates + battery saving tips, will the battery lasts the whole day and would have a SOT of up to 6 hours?
Note: I'm neither a gamer, vlogger, video editor or heavy streamer. Just Monday to Friday work taking everyday photos with everyday tasks. My other choice for a next phone is the Xiaomi 13T.
Help please?

Sbsjfbdidnfd, 27 Jul 2024Phone would've been good if it at least used 8+ gen 1.... moreHonestly, this is probably one of the most disappointing phones by Samsung released in 2023. They recycled the A54's ugly design with the huge bezels, and used the same processor as the S22 lineup. Battery life is astoundingly poor and it heats up quickly.
Currently in my country the S23 FE retails for $480 USD for the 8/256 model, while the S23 costs $583 USD for the 8/256 model.
Personally, I'd rather spend the extra $100 to get the S23, which is a proper flagship through and through with a compact size, better design, thinner bezels, better cameras, faster performance, better features, and even better battery life as well.

Phone would've been good if it at least used 8+ gen 1. Instead, they use 8 gen 1, so people prefer to pay more for s23. Leading the phone to drop to premium midrange prices brand new and used ones sometimes can be found for the price of f6 lol (my country).

2 reasons I passed on this phone and got the OP 12R instead. Chip is a year older than the 12R SD 8 gen 2. 12R is just few months newer. Second reason is battery is small compared to the 12R. So, I would keep skipping Samsung FE for a R version of OnePlus phones.

Can we all agree this phone is a disappointment compared to the S21 FE?
- Same exact design as the A54 with all the unnecessary bulk and ugly thick bezels. The S21 FE was perfectly sleek, lightweight at 177 grams, and had decently thin bezels. The glass back is a nice upgrade, but the bezels, weight, and dimensions are a step back to the S21 FE design-wise.
- Downgraded protection from Gorilla Glass Victus to Gorilla Glass 5.
- Uses the S22 lineup's processors despite being named S23 FE. Meanwhile the S21 FE used the same processors as the rest of the S21 lineup.
- Virtual proximity sensor instead of hardware like the S21 FE.
- Poor battery life and poor thermals. This is one of the worst phones you can buy today in terms of battery life, and it heats up very quickly. When the cheaper A54 can still have decent run times, that's saying something.
Honestly, avoid this phone at all costs. I suggest picking up the A55 instead, or wait and see what the S24 FE has to offer when it releases this October or next January.

Happy127, 21 Jul 2024Oneplus Nord Have Weak camera & s23fe have best camera ... moreAgain - My decision is based entirely on my own experience. I have ONLY owned Samsung phones since 1998 - however my last three Samsungs have died on me without a warning - just regular use calls/whatsapp/YouTube/etc- Zero Gaming. The service centre themselves suggested I stay away from everything other than the flagships.
In any case. I'm done with Exynos. When I want a toaster - I will buy one! :D
My friends who have Oneplus and have had the greenline issue have either had their displays replaced or were given store credit for the full purchase amount of the phone.
I was happy with the camera output of the phone (for my needs). Moto Edge50 Pro would have been better in this (and other) dept - but their dodgy update record was worrying.
I am also willing to live with Plastic or Metal bodies. I am done lugging around fragile glass covered phones - which then I have to encase in bulky covers to keep safe - despite which they break! (unless they are the ones made by SPIGEN - bullet proof in my exp)
IN any case - this is my first tryst with OnePlus. Lets see how it goes!

Kb, 21 Jul 2024Too Many complaints and issues with Samsung these days - Di... moreOneplus Nord Have Weak camera & s23fe have best camera Quality in range.
Oneplus Nord will too heat as it have metal body(metal body easily heats in comparison of glass or plastic body) & also unoptimised sd7+gen3 (many phone in this chip heats)
There is many negative reviews about s23fe in youtube due to exynos 2200, but in reality this exynos 2200 in s23fe is much better than earlier one in s22 coz 2nd gen exynos 2200 is made on latest 4nm lpp+ foundry (earlier was on 1st gen. Lpp only). Also heating issue & Battery drain is very much controlled after one ui 6.1 update. I m playing 90fps game by using gfx tool( while playing game phone heats but controllable). Regarding screen issue, Samsung gives free screen replacement to all phone have problem but oneplus is also Infamous for greenline issue in screen in longterm.
