Happy127, 23 Jun 2024Got from Unauthorized local shop, Actually they r selling A... moreI found the phone to be sold locally in Italy via major mobile providers in 24/30 months installments and will cost a total of 300 EUR but you also have to commit for 24/30 months of service.
I guess it won't be a scam because they are a major service providers and they are probably making up for the price difference from paying for their service.

I can buy the phone for around 290 EUR from local carrier. I don't think there is any other phone that can beat it at less than 300 EUR right?

Did you buy the phone from a Samsung store or from a Samsung authorised store?

Hello, Recently Few days ago I purchased S23fe from local shop. Box was sealed, it was open in front of me (hence I don't think shopkeeper given me used phone). But When I checked member app Samsung care+ it is showing my phone is 200 days old but I have purchased few days ago approx 15-20 days ago. I also tried to check Date of purchase(activation date) through samsung official Website by registering phone & it is showing Date of Purchase 6-7 month old Which is wrong. I called customer care they told that in next 48 hour Senior executive will callback you regarding this issue. Anyone else showing wrong Date or warranty days in samsung care+ ?? Please Guide me.

Janika, 08 Jun 2024Gents; Do not listen to the hate! This is an awesome handse... moreLol bro s23fe with trashxynos is just nogo, even normal 8gen1 is a redflag from Samsung nod, if its made by tsmc (8+gen1 for example) would be okey, 2 of my friend bought s23fe...its horrible even a Twitch can overheat the phone lol

The battery life is really bad on this phone. All of it's greatness is held back by the mediocre battery & overheating.

Gents; Do not listen to the hate! This is an awesome handset for the price, as of now, here selling for less than the A55 does, and has so much more to offer, especially the one with the SD 1 CPU. Think I could count on one hand the number of folks commenting here, whom actually own this phone. So they have no clue about real life, and day by day usage. Reading crap on soc media and comparing specs online does not give you a clear picture of one device and what it's like using it IRL. We own both, the S23 vanilla and the S23 fe and both phones have their advantages, The S23 is a slightly faster and has a faster finger p reader, The fe is larger, so you can see more. They both have the same camera, lens and sensors, so both produce excellent images in the right hands and light conditions.
The big difference is the price, You can pickup an open box S23 fe for less than $500- Cdn ($400 USD) here and for even less $ used. The vanilla S23 still sells for big money, $800- + sales taxes. We do not experience the heating issues or display problems mentioned below. The fe also charges up to 100% in about an hour with the Samsung 25w charger. The only thing I wished, if it was lighter, it's over 200 gr weight. The bezels don't really bother me, since I have a Spigen case on it and it partially covers the bezels. Usually getting 2 + days of battery life under average usage (not gaming) music, video, messenger, camera and surfing the web editing pix, etc.
IMO; One would have to search real hard to find another phone with similar quality and features for the same price and an actual optical zoom lens.

royo1e, 24 May 2024Exynos is a big red flag. In the long run, the Exynos power... moreAs much as I hate Exynos, the display problems are not a chip problem, those are amoled screen problems and they've existed for quite sometime now. When the pixels are damaged, thats when the green line issues occur. Its a hardware problem. But many of the users are getting it even on brand new phones, so there seems to be something lacking in the manufacturing department. This problem has been there in many brands, Samsung and OnePlus being the worst offenders. Just buy phones with extended warranty.

And sadly you cant go for IPS LCD phones, in this race to have the best displays, nobody no longer makes any good phones with IPS LCDs. We may see Micro LED take over within a few years, it's supposed to be better than Amoled from what I heard.

Dont buy this phone. It's S21fe or a bigger S22 with a price hike for absolutely no reason. As expected, heating is horrible, not just because of Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and Exynos 2200 which were popular contestants for the worst thermal control, but also because the phone has no good cooling system and the size makes it harder to control heat. Doing anything normal including browsing seems to be a herculean task because it starts heating up.

The other day, we ran out of gas mid cooking and I suggested to browse on my phone and cook on top of it instead.

Absolute waste of money, it's sole purpose is to deceive tech ignorant customers by selling them on the brand value.

There are much better options for way cheaper price from OnePlus, Nothing, Google. The former 2 will be a slight downgrade in camera quality, the latter will give you one of the best photos out there in the smartphone market. The key takeaway is, just dont waste your money on this phone.

And the battery as expected, is a sh*tshow. Even after putting multiple apps on deep sleep and turning off like 10 options in the phone, its still awful. The OS is too heavy and stuff keeps running in the background all the time.

Exynos is a big red flag. In the long run, the Exynos powered smartphones faced display issues. Every 8 out of 10 Samsung devices is powered by Exynos facing display issues after updates. S21 series, S21FE, and S22 series facing green, and white line issues. It's a serious concern. I think people should consider this before getting an exynos powered device.

With the price drops, this phone is almost a hit. Almost, as it misses big in 2 extremely important areas: Battery life, and storage capacity. They need to reintroduce the Micro SD slot, or at least sell and charge a fair price for at least 512GB, I'm sick of premium phones with paltry storage capacities. And the battery life is properly terrible. 8:28 combined, ouch, it's like we're living in 2015. Most phones are literally 50% better than this.
