Can we all agree this phone is a disappointment compared to the S21 FE?

- Same exact design as the A54 with all the unnecessary bulk and ugly thick bezels. The S21 FE was perfectly sleek, lightweight at 177 grams, and had decently thin bezels. The glass back is a nice upgrade, but the bezels, weight, and dimensions are a step back to the S21 FE design-wise.

- Downgraded protection from Gorilla Glass Victus to Gorilla Glass 5.

- Uses the S22 lineup's processors despite being named S23 FE. Meanwhile the S21 FE used the same processors as the rest of the S21 lineup.

- Virtual proximity sensor instead of hardware like the S21 FE.

- Poor battery life and poor thermals. This is one of the worst phones you can buy today in terms of battery life, and it heats up very quickly. When the cheaper A54 can still have decent run times, that's saying something.

Honestly, avoid this phone at all costs. I suggest picking up the A55 instead, or wait and see what the S24 FE has to offer when it releases this October or next January.

I have ONLY owned Samsung phones since 1998 - however my last three Samsungs have died on me without a warning - just regular use calls/whatsapp/YouTube/etc- Zero Gaming. The service centre themselves suggested I stay away from everything other than the flagships.

        In any case. I'm done with Exynos. When I want a toaster - I will buy one! :D

        My friends who have Oneplus and have had the greenline issue have either had their displays replaced or were given store credit for the full purchase amount of the phone.

        I was happy with the camera output of the phone (for my needs). Moto Edge50 Pro would have been better in this (and other) dept - but their dodgy update record was worrying.

        I am also willing to live with Plastic or Metal bodies. I am done lugging around fragile glass covered phones - which then I have to encase in bulky covers to keep safe - despite which they break! (unless they are the ones made by SPIGEN - bullet proof in my exp)

        IN any case - this is my first tryst with OnePlus. Lets see how it goes!

          Oneplus Nord will too heat as it have metal body(metal body easily heats in comparison of glass or plastic body) & also unoptimised sd7+gen3 (many phone in this chip heats)
          There is many negative reviews about s23fe in youtube due to exynos 2200, but in reality this exynos 2200 in s23fe is much better than earlier one in s22 coz 2nd gen exynos 2200 is made on latest 4nm lpp+ foundry (earlier was on 1st gen. Lpp only). Also heating issue & Battery drain is very much controlled after one ui 6.1 update. I m playing 90fps game by using gfx tool( while playing game phone heats but controllable). Regarding screen issue, Samsung gives free screen replacement to all phone have problem but oneplus is also Infamous for greenline issue in screen in longterm.

            Too Many complaints and issues with Samsung these days - Displays died just days out of warranty - and replacement costs more than what the phone is worth!

            Exynos chips that seem to proliferate the phones being sold in India are damn buggy, and the user experience progressively becomes laggy. Heating. Battery issues .. the list goes on. And suddenly they seem to have grown arrogant - in terms of their product vs pricing.

            After considering the S23FE, and A55 and A35, I just prebooked an OnePlus Nord 4 for INR28,999/- (launch offer plus card disc) . Specs are far superior to anything the Sammys have to offer even at 10k above. 8 GB RAM 256GB UFS4.0 fun!! 4 OS and 6 years of security updates. (4 OP SYS - and not 4 years). Guess am sorted for my use case.

              I bought Samsung S23 FE two weeks ago. Design, shape and screen display all fine only the issue is battery. My Samsung s23 Fe is getting too hot even in normal use.One time its screen blackout then I cool it down and then it start works.

                    Bought this phone to replace my S20FE as the battery was failing after several years. Wish I hadn't bothered. The battery is pathetic and in 3 weeks the screen is more scratched than the previous one was in years. Gorilla glass? I don't think so. I expected the S23FE to be better than the S20FE - it isn't.

                          User. Hi., 13 Jul 2024The phone was used and then resealed.Yes bro. I complained about this in service centre & in shop. They told phone is new but to show sales figure it was pre activated(genrally samsung give pre activated phone to Non-authorised shop at discount to sale, in future always try to purchase from authorised shop). But they extended my warranty period from date of purchase when I complained.

                              Wait for this year's S24 FE. But if you need better cameras then get an older S series device like S22 or a refurbished S23 (if you can find one & don't mind less software updates)

                              A55 & A35 are not a big jump either from A54, so you'll have to wait for A56 or A36 to feel a difference. Check out Nothing 2a, Pixel 7Pro/8a or Xiaomi 13T if you don't mind Xiaomi's software. (or in my opinion: Just keep using A54 for a few more years, it's already too good)

                                  I got this S23 FE device for a 6 month. In overall I am disappointed. Screen is bright and nice, performance are good, camera is fine but stills it has a lot of weaknesses. Speaker while talking sounds weak, performance price by heating device and battery is below average. Galaxy A can give your money better value. Galaxy S regular line is still the real premium choice for real fans.

Untill recently I had 11 pro, I have replaces it this year with 15pm. It worked smoothly from day one untill last day. If something is really good with IOS and Apple in general, it is their support how ‘snappy’ they are after many years…
                                    As fir this phone, I bought it for my mom. Overall it is ok, battery issue is still a thing for a bit advanced users, but overall a solid phone

                                      Is this phone still garbage?, this phone's price has dropped considerably in my country, presumably due to the well known issues of overheating and battery drain issues of exynos 2200. Has this been fixed yet?, I'm actually thinking of buying this phone.

Had one of those and when I received an OS update, my phone came to screeching halt, It was so slow after. When I called Apple, they wanted to charge me for the call, then told me to replace my handset for a new Iphone. WTF?! That was the last time I had an Icrap. They do that deliberately, so they force you to upgrade. With the new Galaxy S23 you will get at least 4 more years of OS and security updates, so your phone is actually getting better and better each time. When I got my S23 fe it had no AI, now it does with the new OneUI 6.1- / No heating issues, No battery issues. Don't worry abot the bezels! As soon as you slap a case on it, you won't see it. I have a Spigen, slim case on mine. Try getting the NA version with the Snapdragon 8 Gen1 CPU..
