Anonymous, 15 Feb 2023Another question:
Do the files still have the original dat... moreI just looked. With the files copied over from Smart Switch, they still have the original date, time, and location info. I just looked at the first pics and videos I took with my S22 last year. In February 2022.(when I went from my S21 to S22, I did not copy over any pics or videos from the S21)
One drive also has that same info. Although One drive shows the date and time the picture was taken. And also the date and time it was uploaded. As well as the location info where the pic/video was taken.

Anonymous, 15 Feb 2023This would mean at least 120 MB/s. Did it transfer by wire ... moreI did it by wire with a USB-C to USB-C cable.
My main cloud storage is One Drive. With 1TB that comes with Office 365. Then, I also have Google and Amazon storage. But only 100 or 150GB in each. I have the upload settings for each drive set to only upload when connected to wifi. So any time of day, as long as it's connected to a wifi network. Which is typically at work and at home.

Do the files still have the original date and time attribute on the new phone, or has it been changed to the point in time when they were moved?
On MicroSD cards, the original dates and clock times are preserved when inserting into a new device.

Imagine making your £1200 product unattractive to most people in order to save 3 pence on putting a 3.5mm jack inside it.
cringe.

Which cloud host did you use for backup?
Does it run overnight or in real-time?

... moreand also wtf "rekt"??? Grow up. Us adults are discussing phones here. You can take this attitude back to Reddit where you belong.
Forgot to mention, how's it going buying a 1400€ phone that doesn't even come with a fast charger or pre-installed screen protector?

Anonymous, 14 Feb 2023So lets compile what happened in this thread, shall we?
... moreLmao you are absolutely tilted. Yes the starting Xiaomi has 128GB as well but it's also 500€ cheaper fool. So the S23 starts with double the storage, who cares? It's a whole 500€ more expensive for the same specs.
China uses ads? Are you crazy? My last Xiaomi and Vivo phones, no ads at all. You're just making stuff up. These phones come with less bloatware than even 5 year old Samsung phones. You've clearly never used one of these.
Samsung S23 has already been compared to Vivo X90 Pro+ and it falls short even if the S23 Ultra is using 200MP mode lol. Bad autofocus, blurry face detection and you can't even swap cameras whilst recording video. There's plenty of Youtube videos already roasting the device and asking Samsung to explain how this is a marginal upgrade over the S22. DXOMark Youtube vid said it's a good camera, but still has a lot of last generations bugs (which are not fixed even in last gen).
Face it. You're just an embarrassment. How the mods let your comments even pass to be posted I have no idea. You don't own the S23 Ultra, let alone any of the other phones I've mentioned. I've used the S23 Ultra in two pop-ups now in the metro area in my country. It's an underwhelming device for 1400€. At best I would pay 1000€.
I won't be replying to the rest of your comments because you can't even make an argument talking to me about stuff like 128GB of storage lmao. Like I am supposed to be impressed that the 128GB version of the S23 Ultra starts at 1400€ and you have to pay over 1500€ for one with decent storage. Get real. You need your brain checked.

Anonymous, 14 Feb 2023Have fun transferring 512GB between two phones at your next... moreLast night I transferred around 150GB of data from my S22 to my S23+. It only took around twenty minutes. Since the S23+ has 512GB of storage, I just decided to transfer everything. Since that is way more storage than I actually need. Even though all the pictures and videos were already in the cloud. If I had 500GB of data, i just wouldn't transfer all the videos and pictures. Since I have them stored in multiple cloud locations anyway, there would be no need.
And all my music is just streamed from one of my Plex servers at home. I never store it locally on the phone. Since I would need several terabytes of storage, on the phone, to be able to hold all my music anyway.

Atap bocor, 14 Feb 2023Phones without 3.5mm jack are rubbish, period. Is this a joke? I can't even remember the last time I used wired headphones. I've been using BT headphones since around 2010 or 2011.
You could not pay me to go back to being tethered to a cable when listening to music..

Compared dis phone which a Fri of mine let me borrow for a while with my 12tpro and definitely Xiaomi did a better jop starting from white balance which is really accurate on the xiaomi the Samsung act like it doesn't know what to do giving out an orange cast, what pains me the most is the fact that some bias YouTubers are kissing Samsung's ass and not mentioning this but thanks to ice universe for revelling this. People where like"Xiaomi is good but give it to Samsung and u'll see the real potential of this 200mp sensor" now Samsung has it and has made a terrible camera phone than the 12tpro I just hope someone does a genuine comparison btw them so Scamsung fanboys can keep quiet same was said about 13pro performance in gaming surpassing all 8gen2 phones and fanboys were like" wait for Samsung's overclock 8gen2 and u'll see" well Samsung has also prove them wrong. I know many will not like what am saying but read it over and over again and ask urself is Samsung right I mean the so called bloatware in xiaomi and other phones are making their way to one UI 5.1 and am surprised to see some fools actually boasting about these features, the same features they called bloatware what a world
