I feel like this a completer polished version of the S22. I like it.

Same device for 4 years. Nothing new. S10 series is still the latest legend.

This type of heavy power is not useful for batteries in the long run. Chinese OEMs do not provide longer software support, they are mostly hardware-centric than software.

Meanwhile other manufacturers moving to 1" sensors, Scamsung just made it 4x4 200mp in same sensor size. Let's see, hardware wise, Xiaomi 13 pro is definitely a better phone. Xiaomi is often blamed for bloated Miui, which is valid if you're comparing with Pixel, Asus, Sony or anything with stock-like Android.
But if you're comparing it with Scamsung's OneUI, it's as bloated and full of ads as Miui. So why on the earth would you go for Scamsung when software-wise is a draw but hardware-wise Xiaomi wins?

Mark Anthony MY, 15 Jan 2023meh, not really much changed, very similar spec to the olde... moreSame senor size but way more pixels for marketing purpose. I'd say the s22u sensor is better because pixels are much bigger. So called "200mp" which is 4x4 will produce same 12.5mp image so there's no extra resolution to take advantage of anyway.

Chiron , 15 Jan 2023Same old design as the S22 ultra. Hope S23 ultra don't... moreIt is a Note phone... Hence the S-Pen.

meh, not really much changed, very similar spec to the older s22 ,
basically it's just an updated of Processor and Camera, other than that, all are copy and paste, that camera scam marketing , you don't really need that crazy 200mp ,
and yet again , no super turbo fast charging at least 80w or 100w 120w 150w , come on samsung.

btw im using the s21 ultra , i do like the older s21 ultra design

It's the old pee your pants to stay warm trick. Samsung is very familiar with this strategy. So their profits have been suffering due to the lack of interest in the chip and memory business, so they want to find some money and they cut corners with their smartphones. The consumers notice this and buy less phones and Samsung needs to find even more money. And then we end up with a management crisis where the family has to fire the whole leadership and try something new.

The Critic , 15 Dec 2022End of 2022 and people still complaining about lack of 3.5 ... moreYeah, I feel like the headphone jack removal argument is getting old.

still, if you miss it, you can buy an older phone. companies will not bring it back, since they are apple wannabes.

Same old design as the S22 ultra. Hope S23 ultra don't turn out to be a note phone. It should be unique, one of a kind with great specs.

The laser AF is officially removed from the s23 ultra !!
                            Scamsung did it again.

                            Congratulations for future buyers !

neoxcool, 14 Jan 2023Copy-paste of most of S22 Ultra's Specs ...They are basically running a scam at this point. IMO EU will end up slaming them for using a misleading naming scheme (should be S22.1, say, not S23 which implies a new phone altogether , not one that shares 99% of its components with its predecessor).

Budget phone having 100, 120 watt charging.

Reagan, 06 Jan 2023It will have an 8 gen 2, just special made for Samsung but ... moreIt will have worse Bluetooth/wireless audio performance/sound quality though since it won't support advanced aptX codecs (seeing as it's a custom designed Samsung SDG2 chipset) compared to traditional SDG2 phones. Traditional Qualcomm SDG2 phones this year will support those codecs inherently, Samsung likely won't since they can stick with their proprietary SSC codec and sell more GBuds. It's a repeat of last year with the S22 Ultra (even with the SDG1 chipset models), but hopefully the S23 Ultra includes at least a tier above vanilla aptX (aptX HD or Adaptive rev1).
