CamoGeko-XDA, 28 Sep 2024My dudes, in struggling to get more than 6 hours screen on ... moreLet me ask you the FF since you're struggling to get 6 hours of battery.
1. What was the brightness of your phone? Did you set it to max all day?
2. Is your Always On display on?
3. Are you certain that you're getting FULL BARS?
4. Were you always using Data Mode or is it connected to a Wi-Fi?
5. Were you using multiple windows when you're using your smartphone?
6. Is the location Service on?
7. Do you always close all apps after using them?
8. Do you have any of those pesky apps like amazon, ebay, target, ebay, and such?
9. Is the back of your S23 Ultra have a bulge?
10. Were you downloading big files on your phone?
11. Do you always use social media apps to talk to somebody? Especially on a Video-Call?
12. Do you always placed the unit right beside a wireless charging capable device like an iphone or a wireless earbuds with wireless charging?
13. Is the S-Pen always inside? Do you have S Pen Air Actions turned on?
14. Do you have set the Focus Mode On at all times?
15. Is the Flashlight off?
16. Did you recently authorized any App-Permissions when you download and install apps on a third party and allowed the app to access your storage, microphone, camera, and contacts?

CamoGeko-XDA, 28 Sep 2024My dudes, in struggling to get more than 6 hours screen on ... moreThere is definitely something wrong with either the phone or what you are doing. I get about 9-10 hrs of screen on time with the display set to 1440p, 120hz and adaptive brightness.
If I used 1080p and/or 60hz it would probably get upwards of 12 hrs SOT.
Mine is the base 8/256gb model in lavender for what is worth.

My dudes, in struggling to get more than 6 hours screen on time with light-medium usage and that's on the light performance profile too. Anyone else like this??
I thought this device had better battery life than this.

Anonymous, 19 Sep 2024Dont do latest update since samsung deactivate the first 2... moreince you seem to need a detailed explanation. The eq works like this: when you turn up a slider, the algorithm turns down the volume for the rest of the frequencies in order to achieve the effect you want without blowing out the speaker. So when you used to turn up the sub-bass, you just basically lowered the volume on your phone. It was like this since the S6, i think. This was a (very small) problem. It's possible that some people turned up the sub-bass when playing with the eq and now, enough of them went to samsung to complain of low or distorted volume. So they made a fix. The sliders never really did anything so they didn't take anything away from you.
