What is going to be the last major Android update for this phone? 16 or 17? Reply only if you are really sure because I have to decide between this and new s24 ultra.

    I'd love to know, how many of you decided to keep your S23 Ultra or get an S23 Ultra instead of the S24 Ultra??

              Anybody know a good type-c to 3.5mm converter/adapter jack that gives the best audio experience without small hissing noise at low volume?

              I tried the one made by apple (type-c to 3.5mm), but it has somewhat of a delay to it, i.e: when I type, the first keypress isn't going to be heard. I also tried several other brands, they either: "hisses furiously" or straight up does not work.

                  On the other hand for normal people march update is super stable. Great battery, phone feels cooler in hand. Probably the best 6.0 update. Looking forward to 6.1 with april patch

                      Then complains about being big phone lol. - No, I do not complain about big phone, I complain about a specific requirement for phone cases, again, why how do you read my comment and came to this conclusion?

                      And on top complains about 3.5mm jack. It's not the first, it's not the second one without it lol. Buy normal adapter if you want to use ancient aux cord. - Of course I know that, it is literally common knowledge at this point, I also bought an aux cord LOL? Didn't I mention that it is "hard to find", not "Impossible to find" or "This phone doesn't have 3.5 so ngh huhhh I'm mad"?

                          Using one rn, pretty underwhelm about a few factors (the cool things everybody knows so I don't wanna list):

                          First, accessories:
                          - screen is curved so it's difficult to get a decent screen protector wo screwing your phone up (i.e: UV glass protector, might get glue, fingerprint issue).
                          - Cases don't come with 4-wall raised lips by default unless you wanted to carry an even bulkier phone.
                          - 3.5 adapter jack: So difficult to find one, and even in the most expensive one, my ear can hear hissing at low volume, with occasional audio lag on system sound. If you had used iPhone, you know the lightning adapter just works wonder.

                          Secondly, performance:
                          - This might be software, but 60hz on this thing is nowhere near as smooth as the presentation on a normal iPhone device, so once the battery saving mode kicks in, you instantly feel laggy upon switching apps. To make One UI appear as smooth as IOS default skin, you basically have to set this thing in "eye-candy" and "performance" mode, which brings up the battery life:

                          - Battery life: All in all, same as my iphone 14 (excuse me for bringing up the iPhone so much, but I expected it to be great, not just equal or lil bit better), I also don't wanna tweak the settings, because I don't really want to dumb a flagship phone.

                          - Wifi: might be a faulty model but my heart kinda shank when the first few firmwares could not catch my wifi 4 (yes, 4 not 6) and apparently many people also had this problem as I googled it. It was resolved via new firmware update (had to use my mobile data for this lol)

                                        The phone is better built compared with the previous one (the S22 Ultra) and the sound is performing good also.
                                        The most important issue is with the back camera. The software of the phone allows to shoot photos in 12, 50 and 200 megapixels RAW, even though the koreeans incorporated two cameras of 10 megapixels. Giving the fact that the software of the phone starts from 12 megapixels, not 10, those 2 cameras are preety much useless. In rest everything is acceptable.
