Does anybody know good screen protector for S23 Ultra which read finger print ,with current screen protector phone unable to read finger print.

oneplus enjoyer, 27 Apr 2023How are you calling it half baked? Alright, maybe it has sl... moreI agree Samsungs are known to lags and stutters, mainly here in Europe down to the Exynos Processor. But the latest SD Gen 2 Processor is a different ball park,. I've had my phone for 3 months now and it's been absolutely flawless. And I am always one who notices stutter and lag. One UI and Oxygen OS are all about choice. I much prefer One UI. Combine that with the Nova Launcher 8.0.3, which has fluid swipe animations for apps and gestures, it makes the S23 Ultra incredible.

apodexse, 03 May 2023not in the US at least. the 256GB model always has 8GB RAM ... moreProbably price difference is not that huge between 12/256 and 12/512 so it's more worth for retailers to take 12/512 instead of smaller storage model. In europe 12/256 is not popular but I've seen people with this configuration. However if you take a lot of photos/videos I would suggest you to go with 512.

About RAM itself 8gb vs 12gb it's not that huge difference for now. In a long run it could be bottleneck(maybe not). Personally I've taken 12gb variant because I'm planning to stick with with phone till s27u~

I still remember when my friend and I both bought the S7 edge together. He chose to pay with EMI, and I paid cash and also bought a 32GB Samsung Pro Plus MicroSD card. My friend chose not to buy one at all, but after three months, he started experiencing lagginess in his phone. When I checked, he was using a cheap 8GB MicroSD card that ruined his experience. I'm not saying that he didn't have money to buy it at first place, but sometimes people don't have enough knowledge about tech and its usage. Android is totally open-source and never disallows or disobeys any of our stupid hacks in the phone.

just a smile, 01 May 2023Who the hell would charge and transfer at the same time?Probably a person who wants to cook eggs on the phone.

I wanted to share my negative experience with the S23 Ultra 1TB that I purchased in Online Dubai , particularly regarding its poor connectivity despite strong 5G signal. As a gamer, a stable connection is essential for me, but unfortunately, the S23 Ultra kept disconnecting me from data with the dreaded message 'Connection lost, Reconnecting...'. This has been particularly frustrating while playing Mobile Legends, as it disrupts the gameplay and ruins the overall experience.

Despite attempting a factory reset of the settings to resolve the issue, the connectivity problem persisted. Consequently, I decided to take my S23 Ultra 1TB to the service center for assistance. They attempted to fix it with a software reset, but unfortunately, the issue persisted. I am now at a loss for what to do next and would appreciate any advice. It's disappointing to have such persistent problems with a device that I purchased with high hopes.

Anonymous, 01 May 2023You don't plug in flash drive and play games or give i... moreLmao, I love how saying "I am easily expanding my storage internally so I can use it with things I want with" only reveals your own ignorance about how microSD is simply "just another medium for file exchange" which misses the points around what I was making to begin with - so lets talk about this with *some* level of openness, you lot can fight amongst yourselves

The major appeal with having expandable internal storage is that you don't *need* a flash drive to begin with, you can simply mount the device through MTP (or another protocol if the device may need help being recognised by Windows for example) and copy your files directly to your phone (hell, you can even do it with Wi-fi depending on the speed of your connection and a syncing app of your own choice) - A flash drive adds bulk to the phone if you have it plugged in as a pseudo-replacement for internal E/S and at that point, you may as well invest more into getting a phone with higher internal storage (hence this point: "...the major reason from Samsungs perspective is to squeeze as much money out of you, the end-user/consumer bc at that point, hey you're spending $1600 on a new device - what does it matter to you having expandable storage")

Also MicroSD isn't dead anyway?? The format still sees massive use as an easy storage medium between different devices - phones are no exception to this, the only reason that I alluded to as to its removal are both for driving consumers to inferior "alternatives" (which, again, if you're all about storage - despite it being boring - does not a replacement for expandability make in the long-run - if you care about file backups or data hoarding etc) besides other generalised trends such as the rise of streaming (however that these have become justifications in themselves to remove end-user functionality, rather than say to allow for progression in this space - a la facilitating development of faster storage mediums like the previous UFS Card format into these phones, which *would* conceivably give Samsung another revenue stream through closed-ecosystem lockdown [bad idea mind] - is mind boggling to me!)

In general there is no suitable alternative that can be suggested here or elsewhere, and making assumptions about what "an average user will use" instead of allowing for developments that bring down the base level of storage not at 256GB but at 512GB/1TB minimum will still necessitate the microSDs inclusion as a cheap, (somewhat) open medium for storage expandability

Again anon, you are the culmination of the platforms Smartest User - Making a redundant comment about a potential alternative to something instead of understanding the continued usefulness of that feature and voting with your own wallet to enable greater hardware openness instead of the planned obscolescent hellscape we're in within the phone landscape (if you want to be optimistic about the current technological landscape at the moment)
