The overall camera system is versatile, but quite bad quality. Short backstory, I got the Xiaomi 13 Pro on preorder, was a bit unhappy with the Ultrawide, the telephoto oversaturated the photos quite a bit and the HDR was activating only when it wanted to. I returned it, and got a Samsung S23 Ultra. Taking similar photos with the S23U as I did with the P13 Pro delivers vastly worse results, no matter what mode I try, 12 MP, 50 MP, with or without HDR, with or without Scene Optimizer. I am genuinely shocked by the amount of noise, artefacting and color aberrations in the S23U photos. I am so sad I returned the Xiaomi... The only better camera on the S23U is the selfie, and the fact that it can zoom 10x, which is useful only in good light.

    Sad that there is no Samsung phones which supports Jio 5g carrier aggregation..not even s23 plus.. whereas many budget devices from oyher brands do support this..

      S23U user, 18 May 2023Yeah I liked the S6 Edge especially the Green Emerald one, ... moreMan just buy a new phone. S6 is too old. Had one as well. Short battery life and very laggy performance. Nowadays even midrangers run better and have long battery life.

        AnonD-1090716, 18 May 2023Try downloading the latest software update available for yo... moreYeah I liked the S6 Edge especially the Green Emerald one, but I got the much cheaper standard S6 with 64GB| 3GB.
        It's on Android 7.0 (Nougat), I did get what was probably a critical security patch G920FXXU6ERF6 @ 21.79 MB on Feb '23 (although patch level shows June '18 with Kernal July '22).
        I've just optimized it in 'Device Maintenance' deleting cached data & it's much better, I might get a new battery or just trade it in, it was a back up for my Note9 with 512GB| 8GB (+512GB microSD card) which is now a back up for my 512GB| 12GB S23 Ultra.

Better efficiency, better battery, better heat management. Maybe samsung will make a comeback with s24 series but I doubt. If you are using your phone for only social media and casually browsing the net then maybe you wouldn't notice a thing but then it comes to heavy use snapdragon is far superior nowadays.

                  You could change the battery and give your Galaxy S6 edge a new life using it as a second-hand device.

                          They have 2yr Warranty in Europe (idk about elsewhere).
                          Contact Samsung in your country & get advice for fix, trade in etc.
                          & go to XDA website also to see if anyone else had this issue & how they resolved it.

                          My S6 still works, but lags & the battery needs replacing.

It was laggy joke. One UI is a big improvement compared by TouchWiz. Plus now I have 8GB ram instead of 3GB. And 256GB storage instead of 32GB. And Snapdragon instead of Exynos. Plus miles better battery life. But S6 Edge had cooler design and better materials. Will wait for A55 or S24 series.
