I don't know how to use it yet, but mine was cheap compared to the listed prices.

If photos and videos are saved onto the MicroSD, they are immediately more protected against data loss. No delays like external backups have.

A month with this device and I can say I am happy with the experience. Coming from the S10+, I can say a major upgrade is the screen. I know this device doesn't have the dolby vision but my viewing experience is still very good. battery life is SOO Good for my usage. S-Pen good to have it but I have only reached for it a few times so that feature is kind of a meh for me. Camera is decent, but the night shots with this device is soo good. Overall for me i think it's worth the upgrade if you've had your device maybe 4-6 years already.

now THIS is a phone. Infact I consider this almost the best phone available, but it has two glaring issues. The first one is one UI, it's just disgusting when it comes to speed or battery life and I will always believe that the perfect UI is oxygenOS due to the speed and to the ACTUALLY good features but I digress, I guess people have different opinions. The second piece of criticism I have is the charging. Samsung, why did you feel the need to lock the phone's charging speed to 45W??? And it's not a fast 45W, it takes like an hour or so (maybe 55 mins) to charge to 100%. That is garbage. My oneplus nord ce 2 lite which has 33w charging and which costs 200$ charges at around the same speed. My oneplus nord 2 which was a 400$ at launch and can now be picked up for under 300 charges to 100% in THIRTY mins. And don't even get me started with xiaomi. 250$ device charges to 100% in 20 mins. Their damn mid range poco device (f4 gt) can charge to 100% in 17 minutes. Just think about that, seventeen. There are so many other examples of phones which charge so much faster, so why, Samsung? Why make the charging so slow?? Also, I know that Samsung fanboys will compare this phone to the iPhone 14 pro max which has only a 27w charger and charges to 100% in 1h30m or something like that, but you need to understand that apple has the ecosystem, and iOS, which have exclusivity, and aside from that, the fact that the s23 has worse battery life, and therefore needs to charge more often. Honestly, Samsung needs to get off their high horse, ever since they "made it" and they created mindless fanboys who will buy anything they put out, they started getting lazier, when are they gonna make actually groundbreaking revolutionary advances again??

Man, so much hate towards this phone. Nolifers explaining other nolifers etc. etc.
While I finally enjoy a decent phone. I tried Apple's little cult and hated it. And while the price tag of this phone is nowhere near justifiable I simply didn't want a crappy Chinese phone. You have a problem with that?

Wireless power transmission is inefficient, meaning slower and it creates more heat. Indeed, it is more convenient than plugging in a cable, which is helpful at home, but sometimes full throttle is necessary.

I did use the USB port for Smart Switch. But I could have also done that wirelessly.
If I had not been transferring over all my videos and pictures, I would have just used the wireless option.

Examples include the home button error 53 scandal and the bug where setting the date to early 1970 would render the system unbootable.

Will you also happily "move on" to missing USB ports when that feature goes? Is this a bright future to look forward to?

Admit it already, SD cards have become an addition, rather than necessity. Making wild claims that there will be immediate data loss. We can adapt. You forget, Apple's users have been using SD cards since...never. They are doing just fine. Sure they can reach 1TB capacity, but guess what? This phone has both the capacity and memory speed. I call that feature.

Also, tell me one thing. Samsung makes some of the fastest SD cards out there. So why would they choose to blow their own sales and not include them in their flagships? The world may have ended for you and your SD cards, but for the rest of us, we need to MOVE ON to the future.
