Anonymous, 23 Mar 2023Good. But you have to charge below 20% and unplugged after ... moreWho the hell actually does that? Just use your phone like a normal human being from 100% to as low as possible, around the 2 to 5% mark. The battery life is insane on this phone. These phones have 800 cycles of healthy battery life guaranteed which is about 2.5 years of use, so make the most of it. Then you can replace the battery through the official Samsung replacement program and you're good to go again for another 2.5 years.

Danish07, 22 Mar 2023How to root this mobile?ㅤHow to Root your phone

        For this, you need:
        -A Phone
        -A PC
        -A MicroSD Card
        -Internet

        Your warranty is now void.
I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards, thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.

        -Enable Developer Options
Pretty Simple, Tap on the build number 7 times

-Find "OEM Unlocking" in Developer Options and Enable it.
This is Crucial for the next few steps, you must do it.

-Shutdown your phone, Press both Volume keys, and Plug your phone into Your PC While you're at it.
Holding Both Volume Keys while plugged will boot the phone into Bootloader, or "Download Mode" in this case.

        -Long Press Volume-Up Key
Long Pressing it will prompt you to either Unlock your Bootloader or Cancel it (Restart)
obviously you wouldn't want to do it if you're a normal consumer, but for you, press The Volume-Up Key (Yes)
before you do that, make sure you backup all your data! This Step is also crucial btw.

        -Reboot into Download Mode
I won't explain how, Cause I already did.

        Let's get to PC!

        -Install Magisk
        1. Odin3

-Either Download a Magisk Tar Package file or create one.
Magisk is nothing but a boot imge file
Samsung uses a proprietary fastboot alternative called "Odin" which is easier to use.
Download or Create a flashable Magisk Tar File.

        -Flash it into AP
This is very crucial, you need to flash it only in AP Slot, Otherwise, your system will crash.

        Aftermath:
-if your phone is not modified, this process will brick your device. Use Modifications like "MultiDisabler" or anything related.
-if your phone is modified, you should be fine. your job is done!

        2. TWRP

-Download Magisk APK and Convert it to ZIP Format
If you need to root your device, you need to either install Magisk, SuperUser Plugins, or Xposed. I recommend Magisk, since it is really popular, Featureful and Easy to use.
Convert the downloaded Magisk APK to a ZIP File. it is already flashable, so you don't need to use a thousand apps in order to make it flashable.

-Move Magisk ZIP into your SD Card

-Download a TWRP Tar File, Open up Odin, and Flash it as AP

-Insert The SD Card into your phone

-Find and Flash Magisk ZIP File in SD Card

What is armor aluminum frame with tougher drop and scratch resistance (advertised)?
hello,I just fell out of the pocket, and the frame of the phone was deformed by about 80cm...
The floor is concrete and there is a protective cover made by Ringke.
Is the Armor aluminium frame also made of recycled material?

I use Spigen screen protectors. Starting with the S10, Samsung had an, under screen, Ultrasonic fingerprint reader. With my screen protectors installed, they have always read my fingerprints just as accurately and as fast as without a screen protector.

I've also never had any image issues from a screen protector. And I've never had any sensitivity issues from using a screen protector. The same settings without a screen protector works the same as when the screen protector is installed. At least that has always been the case with the Spigen screen protectors I have used.

Tyko48, 22 Mar 2023Not really true. Corning makes the screens for both Galax... moreThis is one of the very very few genuine cases of criticisms I've seen on Samsung and it's one I'm happily inclined to agree with. Considering the extortionate price of their flagships, the least Samsung can do is actually provide us a screen protector within the box or even pre-install it themselves, we're talking about a phone that costs more than older cars which is already in the realm of stupidity. And you're right, unlike last year, this year they opted for a shatter-proof or resistant glass rather than a scratch-resistant one which is a hindrance because realistically, you have more of a chance of scratching it on a daily basis even by mistake rather than being silly and dropping it which is more of your responsibility.

Tyko48, 22 Mar 2023Not really true. Corning makes the screens for both Galax... moreMaybe the screen Samsung use is different because of the s-pen technology? I would think it would have to be somewhat different, otherwise iPhones would have stylus support too.

I would always use a screen protector on an expensive phone though... you can get good ones where things like image, sensitivity and the fingerprint reader aren't affected at all 👍.

Your Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ essay is shut fake bs as this Samsung outperforms that very well with the 8 Gen 2 and it has 0 cooling issues, in fact, the only SD 8 Gen 2 phone with cooling issues is the Honor Magic 5 Pro with that terrible throttling and GPU performance caused by its bad QC assembly and lack of proper cooling pipes. The heat makes it struggle so much.

Even GSMArena said it in their review for the Honor Magic 5 Pro. Do you see that throttling on GSM's S23 Ultra review? Nope right?? Then stop writing BS as they won't become true no matter if you repeat them 1000 times.

I'd rather let the case take care of drop resistance.

Corning makes the screens for both Galaxy and iPhone but Samsung chose to go with a softer glass for more shatter resistance and less scratch protection.
After using my iPhone 13 Pro Max for 1 year with no protector I had no scratches.
I never felt the need to use protectors on any phone because they mess with image, sensitivity, fingerprint reader, but this is the first time I had such rapid wear.
