I have multiple phones between 2 to 10+ year phones where the storages still works fine.
About SD cards I lost 4 in the last 3 years.
All branded (SanDisk, Kingston, Samsung and a other especially for high quality photography) and not quite cheap but still they just went corrupt and don't work at all anymore.
I understand what you're saying but unfortunately in reality it's quite different.
---
About the S23 Ultra being a small update is also depending on region.
If it came with another exynos I would have doubts.
But also think about the people who did not have the S21/S22 Ultra, there are many including myself.
I came from an Oppo Find X2 Pro and it's a big step ahead in all departments so I am happy with the S23 Ultra and hope it will serve me 3 yrs atleast.

floydb1982, 25 Mar 2023Your just asking the phone to completely die on on you for ... moreYou need too change voltage current setting so its like PWM setting, threshold
You can customise the voltage, unlike on standard its garbage fixed.
So many options too chose and tinker
Its using 12w tdp , from 6tdp , I can take it too 15w tdp, that's brutal pure power and torque.
Feels like S25ultra Intel i7 extreme

floydb1982, 25 Mar 2023Your just asking the phone to completely die on on you for ... moreIt's more like 3500mah now. I have slim 5000msh powerbank
I wouldn't take that standard free cheap junk trash standard Rom, this rooted with 8 cores running is blistering super fast zippy, everything is instantaneous.
I have gpu cores at 1200mhz from 900mhz
Even the Cpu kicks in when playing games with 100fps gaming.

Anonymous, 29 Mar 2023I feel there are 2 reasons why Sammy generally hasn't ... moreThe Samsung S23 Ultra is BY FAR the king of 2023 smartphones, the best smartphone in history as well as the only flagship with 0 huge cons while all of the others have at least one such as zoom only 3x or below and even without OIS / optical fingerprint sensor / USB 2.0 / UFS 3.1 / 1080p 1080/30 selfie... while the S23 Ultra doesn't have any single of that huge con thus making it the only REAL flagship.
It's very hard to be a Samsung hater nowadays. They are already the best in overall by light years ahead. Not the best in every single aspect (it is in many though) but in overall it just crushes out any other brand since it has no real cons. 10/10 beast!

Anonymous, 29 Mar 2023I feel there are 2 reasons why Sammy generally hasn't ... moreOnly reason this year their s23 series are selling at all is because of the snapdragon 8 gen 2 and elimination of Exynos. Better battery life, performance and less heating is all because of that chip alone. Camera is a bit better as well but main reason is the chip. Rest of the phone is as it was last year. They can't ride on chipset alone for another year so they have to bring something new to the table next time.

camp, 29 Mar 2023I think chances of sd card failing is higher than chances o... moreNope, not even close. SD cards can be written/wiped their entire capacity worth of data upto 10k times before wearing out. That's 10k days i.e. nearly 30 years if you do one write/wipe once every day. Your phone will fail after 4-5 years, so technically your phone's storage will fail 6 times before your sd card will. I'm using one I got with a nokia and since then, nokia went from a giant to bust and then started selling phones again and going bust again, and their sd card is still with me.

My god this phone is so good, i have upgraded from note 10plus, used note 10plus for 3 years and now today i bought s23 ultra 512gb, phone is with so many features that i am still exploring it, glad I finally upgraded my phone, though there is no sd card slot in s23 ultra, tbh once i bought a sd card for my note 10plus but simply I didn’t use it in my phone, coz sometimes while clicking photos or shooting videos, if u set sdcard as your default storage for saving photos and videos, I have seen some shutter lags while clicking photos or shootings videos, so I really don’t care about that sd card option. If you can afford this phone then do buy it, such an amazing phone. I picked s23 ultra over an iphone 14 pro max.

A major... moreI feel there are 2 reasons why Sammy generally hasn't been a leader in s class specs: 1 the note 7 battery fires issue of 2016 caused them to slow down progress. 2. Apple, their biggest major competition, doesn't have top of the line specs but still is quite profitable.
Supposedly Sammy is gonna start bringing more world class top notch specs to the s series starting next year. Think they will?

A: don't tell me ppi is more important for you tha... more1. I don’t care if you can not tell the difference. A majority of humans can easily tell the difference between a quality display and a crappy one. S10+ is over 4 years old, and has DOUBLE the pixels “new” mockery of a phone Samsung puts out. And battery life only changes an insignificant amount, in fact, 120Hz is more of a battery hog than a good quality display.
2. You trolls are not majority of people. If the majority of people knew samsung has downgraded everything and is ripping people off, they would not buy a toothpick from them. Samsung should invest in improving their products instead of funding spineless trolls in messaging boards.
Nobody likes scammers. And, as it turns out, my screen is bigger than the both of you, as it has twice the pixels.

Bluetooth is so slow that it would take days to download the data. And apparently Google has removed the ability to mount the internal storage as a file server through bluetooth, so files would need to be sent individually, making it useless for the backup of multiple folders.
Thankfully, the S23 supports wireless charging, so power supply wouldn't be a problem if the USB port is broken. However, that would still not help if the screen is broken.
A MicroSD card can be ejected and read from an independent device.
