Chigozie, 13 Sep 2025Pls how does the s24 perform on oneui 7 does it still suffe... moreNo the Snapdragon version only loses about 3% battery overnight when shut off. I'm a light to medium user..battery app says a full charge will last me 3 days and 6 hours. Got a little over 3 hours of screen on time since the last charge and the S24 is currently showing 41% battery remaining. I don't play many games, 70% web surfing and 30% texting and calls. The phone is on 4G (lte) only and the screen is at 60Hz (LTPO). Guessing about 5 hours of screen on time for a full charge, only had the phone for 1 month so far. I have watched battery drain videos on the S24, the Exynos version has worse battery life and the S24FE even worse battery life. S25 will get you a bit longer battery life but it's more money, hope that helps.

Guys Please.. my samsung apps are not working like calculator, samsung health. This is brazy .. and I just got the phone and it did not come with those apps I have to install them again. What could be the issue??

After my fireball Pixel 6a battery issue defect, I decided to return to Samsung. Picked up an "open box" S24 (Qualcomm version) in Canada 8/128 for $550 Canadian. Found the 24FE has too many issues (also more expensive) and the S24+ series which I wanted more was almost double the price. It was slightly over my budget but I needed to replace the 6a pretty quick. So far no complaints, the camera is really good, the phone is fast enough for me and the screen is delicious, I got it in natural mode at @ 60Hz. I do miss the stock Android but you can tweak the Samsung software to make it look like stock. Its 19.5:9 aspect ratio feels better in my hand than the pixel did and the best part is the small borders. It's a good option for a fast compact phone in North America. Samsung's software has really evolved from what I was used to on the Galaxy S9. It's now smooth with pretty much no lag, very happy with my upgrade, probably never going back to a Pixel ever again.

Source: I have a friend who had S24 Exynos and upgraded to S25, and we both can see how much better her battery life is

Cou... moreReal world differences, you might notice some potential extra warmth if your a heavy gamer/ power user and might notice (if coming from the sd variant) a very slight difference in battery life IF your on mobile data a bunch but the flip side the exynos battery is slightly better when on WiFi. That's it.

The 0.5 being 25W charging only, if only it was 45W or so then it would be 10/10. The size is good, given we are in 2025. I traded it in for the Z Flip 7 512GB version at like 50% off for the Flip, so I moved on. But, if anyone is wanting to buy one in 2025, it's very good device.

I'm unable decide between the samsung s24 and s25. Could anyone help me make a choice.
I know s24 is cheaper but i want to know if I'm losing on something not paying the few extra bucks.
