I guess you are obvious to Sony's lineup?
I choose a Sony Xperia 1 V specifically because of the SD card slot, headphone jack, and yes a design that has the seldomly-used front facing camera seperate from the screen.
Also, what is "legacy" about having expandability with an SD card slot? Until eSIM becomes standard globally, phones need some kind of access panel anyway, so why would you not be kind to your users and allow them to upgrade their storage as well?

Hi guys, I am presently using OnePlus 12 as my primary phone and searching one compact phone as a secondary one. It may be a brand new one or second hand is also okay with me. The specifications need not be top notch but one down or two down are acceptable. Android and IOS both are acceptable. Display size around 6.2 inch (this is very important)
Could find only 3 options-S24, Xiaomi 14 and iphone 15. Is there anything else available?

No SD card slot, no headphone jack, front-facing camera in the middle of the screen, smaller battery than on phones which cost 1/3 of its price = trash phone.
I'd expect much better from a phone of this price, very poor value.

S24 is a very ergonomic size for sure and ann improvement on s22. I would agree at 600 it would tempt me as well.

S24 ultra supports wifi 7 and this standard version doesn't unfortunately, which is very weird

Samsung has some crazy deals for this phone (and entire S24 lineup). Right now they offer 200€ money back. So essentially you can now have a S24 with 7 years of updates and all flagship specs for about 600€. This kinda makes any other smartphone obsolete and terrible value.

I... moreNormally I am one to not give a damn about charging speeds, but when a midrange phone (M55) has faster charging than the flagship that is just sad. Samsung should also increase the base storage to 256GB and offer a 512GB version that isn't limited to just Europe.
Edit: As well as increase ram since this is just midrange ram now
