Its better to buy s24+ as currently it is available for same price in India on Flipkart, better display, ram, cpu, battery, camera, charging speed than S24 FE.

If you're willing to wait till around March 2025, there will be the Galaxy A56. It will use a brand new Exynos 1580 processor, which has comparable performance to the Exynos 2100 or Snapdragon 888 used on 2021 flagship phones, but hopefully with better thermals and efficiency.
Otherwise, you can wait for the S24 FE's price to drop.

I'm currently running A53, I dislike the performance and battery is OK. 6 hours sot when capped at 80%.
Just wondering, which phone from Samsung would you recommend to me, a hard-core user? Or should I wait till next year for the price drop?

Somehow the price went up quite a bit to more than $400 even though the trade-in promotions are still there for a few more days, so it's a definite skip for now

After much thought, I had traded my S23 FE to S24 FE.
This is still my 2nd day using the phone, one thing for sure is that the battery endurance is much, much better than S23 FE.
It also never runs too hot while charging or got strained, only acceptable amount of warm imo around 40-41 ⁰C. Will have to try intensive graphic games or running other strain test.

Drawtrue, 21 Oct 2024how is the battery life, network quality and Wi-Fi quality ... moreDifference in web browsing is probably due to the screen as it doesn't really go down below 60. So far it's pretty consistent about 10% for every 1 hour of SOT.
Random days
Battery usage 49%
SOT 5.5 hours
SOFT 3 hours
Battery usage 32%
SOT 3.5 hours
SOFT 10.5 hours
Network (cellular) seems a little bit worse than iPhone, maybe it's the modem. WiFi is stable and works really well.

Hi, is it worth switching from Poco F5 to this? All my phones before this were xiaomi and I have been wanting to try Samsung again ever since the J7 2016 I have had.
At the same time I'm considering A55 as well but from where I live I can get the S24 FE brand new for around 530$
So is it worth switching from Poco F5 to this? My main concern is the battery life so far

That's why web browsing can be a big battery drainer. However, battery tests and performance tests on most websites may not be up to date with daily human usage, so take these tests as average performance, battery life, etc. Not seriously.

Drawtrue, 21 Oct 2024how is the battery life, network quality and Wi-Fi quality ... moreBattery of s24 fe is in comparison with s24 (snapdragon) 700 mAh larger in capacity, but results are poor:
Web browsing
06:33 hr vs 07:07 hr
Watching video
13:33 hr vs 15:32 hr
Gaming
05:05 h vs 05:03 hr
Standby
129 hr vs 83 hr
S24 fe has larger dispaly. Larger display drains battery more, chipset is not so efficient as snapdragon and optimization is not better than in s24. S24 has also adaptive refresh rate (24-120Hz) while s24 fe only can switchb etween120 and 60 Hz. One shoud take also into consideration that browsing is draining more battery because it works longer on 120 Hz because of scrolling, animations, pop ups... videos are most on 60 Hz of refresh rate on this phone. Browsing also typically drains more battery beacuse increased CPU usage. When browsing, especially on dynamic websites with heavy content, the CPU has to work harder to process JavaScript, render pages, and manage various tasks. This can lead to higher power consumption compared to the relatively steady processing required for video playback. Browsing involves also more frequent data requests and network activity. Each time one loads a new page, the phone communicates with the server to download content, which consumes more energy compared to streaming a video, where data is typically buffered and downloaded in larger chunks.
U should also consider that fe series trademark is bad battery :)

Both Customer Store and Student Store have 10% off the S24 FE at the moment and if you buy it in the UK before November, you can claim the watch too.
Anyway it's an amazing deal when you use the right discounts and sell the watch even if you don't trade anything in.
