I'd say go for more storage and a better chip rather than worrying about the storage type because as long as it's at least UFS 3.1 it'll be really good.

Clairvoyance, 07 Oct 2024I am here purely to criticize- I not mean to hate necessari... moreIt seems like you have a pretty strong opinion against Exynos, huh? From what you’ve said, it sounds like you might not fully grasp all the aspects of this chipset. Sure, there’s a lot of criticism about its performance compared to Snapdragon, but we also need to consider its advantages. For instance, many users appreciate Exynos for its energy efficiency, which can positively affect battery life.

Plus, some folks say that in certain scenarios, Exynos can deliver satisfactory performance, especially for everyday use. It might be a good idea for you to dig a little deeper into how Exynos works, including its architecture and the technologies involved. That way, your opinion can be more balanced and fact-based, rather than just based on emotion or personal experience.

I am really here to just ask a simple "why"
I have had not amazing experiences with Exynos chips, and I have heard of stories aligning with my own, so I'm not going to really recommend- or have anything good to say at all about Exynos chips as a whole
The phone is good, but not for the price, and so what I *do* recommend is either getting something else refurb, or vanilla or plus s24

And no I don't like it, that much is clear, yeah that doesn't apply to everyone, hence the concept of an opinion

My a8 has one and I love that device
It nearly became my main device for a while because my a13 broke
And one my fav cameras on a phone- galaxy note 5 runs exynos
I really really like that thing
Sure chipset could be better but honestly I take what I get

I still genuinely think exynos (not entirely by extension anymore, but tensor chips) chips aren't great and should be used for midrange only, and no I'm not including upper middle range, what could Samsung have possibly done to justify the price

Bc you could get s24+ in same ballpark

The battery test is in & it looks like the battery life is somewhere between Galaxy A54 & Galaxy A35. 11 Hours, which is slightly better than the base Galaxy S23.

The battery life on S24 FE is miles better than the S23 FE which scored 8 hours. But it's no where as good as A55 or S24+. Their scores are around 12 & 13 Hours.

For example it's faster and more efficient than the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 (check the Poco F6 review: Worse performance than both Snapdragon 8 gen 2 and Exynos, barely 10h of battery on the test and not too much throttling but it heated up to 50c on the 3dmark test)

Yeah, including you. You came here to criticize and downvote people who are either defending the S24 FE or are interested in buying the S24 FE just because it has an Exynos chip. How ironic.

Plus I'd want to wait for more reviews to come out first before I decide. Although the pre-order ends in 3 days from where I am so I might wait for another round of discounts
