[deleted post]...you got me!! I bought a £1200+ phone with an awful display - and rather than taking it back or exchanging it for a different model, I thought I'd come on here and lie about how good the screen is... 🤷♂️🤣
Seriously though... the screen on mine is FANTASTIC. As I said, if I had any issues at all, I would have returned it or taken it up with Samsung.

I want to buy this phone but some users are complaining of a grainy screen especially in low brightness on dark or grey backgrounds. Any here having such issue? I am scared.

Of course that 1 guy will have more fame than 1 million happy people with the device. I guarantee same people complaining about non existing issues complains that water from the tap tracks them and puts GPS trackers inside their brain.

[deleted post]I've had my S24U over a month now - and have had no issues whatsoever (apart from that one vivid thing, which they quickly fixed).
As I said, it sounds like you had a faulty or defective model, if you're having all these issues... maybe it's different in different countries(?). I paid over £1200 for mine though - so believe me, if I was having ANY issues (particularly with the screen or display) I would have returned it, or been on to Samsung about it. As it is though, everything's great 👍.

Lol, some say bad display, camera, viewing angles, signal, others that everything is fantastic. What's happening ? Manufacturing imperfections or insufficient output quality control? It looks like buying this model is a real gamble with a stake of $1200. Too many potential problems for this amount of money, and worst of all, most are hardware problems that cannot be fixed with software patches ( like S23 "bananagate").

[deleted post]The display and cameras on mine are fantastic. Battery life too. In fact, in all the battery tests I've seen on YouTube, the S24U beats - or comes a very close second - to the 15 Pro Max. So it sounds like you may have a faulty model(?).
As for "such an ugly boxy uncomfortable design", that's totally up to the individual. Personally, I LOVE the "boxy" design - it's one of the main reasons I chose it over the "rounded" competitors. It's perfect for gaming and watching videos/movies on.

Anonymous, 14 Mar 2024What do you mean by crooked. What's that lolIf you look at that lens then turn the camera on i.e. double pressure power button if that's set for camera, you'll see the camera lens straighten out. It's the OIS. It's meant to be like that.

I've also had no viewing angle problems.

Please do check the camera as its not good on my device. ( may be its my device only ) but you can check in offline stores.

Question for people who own this phone: how true is it that the viewing angles on the display are bad and that the signal reception of 3g, 4g, 5g and wifi is also bad?
I'm planning a purchase, so first-hand experience is important to me because these are hardware problems that cannot be corrected by an update.

SAMCRO it is nornal. OIS uses power to stabilize. If you double tap volume to open camera looking at the back, it will re-align. If you shake the phone you will hear the cameras too.

Probably the best phone in 2024
