I love my S24U - and I prefer the "boxier&q... moreThinking about giving my S25U back to verizon only paid 200 with trade in credits with my A35 also great phone for the price, put a A35 next to a S25U you almost can't even tell the phones apart with screen off the sizes between both are almost the same. Anyway the $90 a month for service just makes it not really worth it. Especially when S24U can be had for $375 or less if you get one with a cracked screen and replace the screen yourself for $75 or less.

We have phones with similar designs to the S25U. When most complained about the sharp edges of the boxy S24U, now they have sharp edges all around the front and rear of the S25U.

I purchased this S24 U despite the S25 U was cheaper with trade ins and all
Well my most important reason is design
After that I like rounded edges better than S25 flat edge it is sharp and uncomfortable for me

The battery has been ok since the last update...but not great like it was. Also, this may be my last Samsung device. well, when I decide to upgrade in about 5 to 7 years. oneplus is looking promising :]

its like average use daily, at night 10% remains. Its one day phone.
FYI : not using gaming or heavy activity anyway

Nu90, 10 Feb 2025Hi Im using samsung 45w charger without fast charging on my... moreI assume that your charger is fine and authentic, so you need the 5A cable (I think that all 5A cable is 100W at least, correct me if I am wrong).
I use 65W charger + 5A cable (100W) and S24U need 70-75 minutes, from 0% to 100%.

- Hope they impr... moreWhat are you doing with your phone, you must have fried the battery somehow :-) . I have between 2 and 3 days of autonomy and 6 to 8 hours SOT if I use the phone moderately.
On the other hand, even though the S24ultra is an flagship phone, it is still necessary to manually adjust many things that affect battery consumption.

- Better camera
Battery I already see it is degrading within 8 months, at night I am getting around 20% remaining after very moderate or can say less use.

I can confirm this is the case
Older phones still go hard man
and ive heard so much good about the s24u
Im hoping that will be my last samsung when i get it and then move on to oppo/oneplus

I've seen couple of vids on YouTube where they were able to remove the camera rings on the S25 Ultra which is not the case on the S24 Ultra. I compared both at a Samsung store & for me the S24 looks & feels much better than the S25.

Same thing will be with android 16 and S26 series in the next year.

My A8 2018 is still smooth for scrolling, but it takes 2–3 seconds to open apps. It is still on Oreo, even though there is an update to Pie. That is why I believe my S24U will last for years (and maybe be my last Samsung).
