This phone has serious Camera Issue if you try focus using video camera it makes vibration record blurry video i address the issue with Samsung UAE but they are not interested. Kindly Check the camera before Buying. I am stuck this phone Samsung has refused to change the device but it has warranty and Samsung Care also. Samsung Customer Service is very poor in UAE.

Have this phone since 27th January 2024 in Ireland early release and it's best smartphone I have ever used upgraded from Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra Exynos which had ok battery life. My advice for Samsung Galaxy S and Z series all models sold Snapdragon SoC only no Exynos as your SoC Isn't as efficiently it's anti consumer sell inferior product Inoay more for Samsung Galaxy S26 26 27 Ultra if had Snapdragon gamuarenteed.

I have been using iPhone 12 for over a year, then upgraded to iPhone 14 Pro Max and was using it for 7 months before moving to S24 Ultra..
My personal Observations - Generally IOS has its limitations, but with whatever it has, its was a very smooth experience..
Like Apps - Example Amazon.. Browse for anything, example a mobile.. Select the pics and try pinch in and out.. Apple would do it super smooth, S24 Ultra will be slightly sluggish
No worries with count of apps in Apple, it handles pretty well..
One more example - Wake up when lifting the phone.. Iphone was super smooth everytime, S24 Ultra.. At times there is delay like it takes nano seconds delay..
Battery was expectationally good on 14 Pro Max.. S24 Ultra I just started using, it should take couple of days to improve or get to adaptive mode and do better..
Camera - S24 Ultra is good, Video - Apple is good.. Otherwise rest depends on how to take or shoot.. Zoon Ultra is king!
Considering its Android.. You can play around..
So either go with IOS limitation and get butter smooth performance.. Or Android to play around but with slight sluggish behavior..
Btw, I was using Samsung Note 8 for almost 3 years before moving to iPhone 12..
So end of the day.. I suggest you should explore both either from your friends using these or check out in shop and take a call..
Btw.. I used to hate iPhone, and loved Note series always.. but after using 12 and 14 Pro max... I hated few things, but loved the experiences overall... But am happy to get back to Note series again.. :)

DeeJay , 10 Mar 2024Has anyone recently swapped from an Apple device to this S2... moreIf you come from iPhone and are using Apple's products (i.e watch, mac, etc) and services (i.e Apple pay, etc), it is an easy answer: upgrade to the new iPhone.
If you come from nowhere, well it is a difficult answer.
Choose S24U for its Android/Google because of its flexibility and wider range of usability (I think)
Choose iPhone if you come from the country where Apple's services are fully implemented.
All specs of both are more or less similar. It may be better than other for the detailed persons, but for daily use, both are the best.

It's a gimmick seen on Xiaomi etc. If it was that important Samsung would have kept it on galaxy S7 . It's like sticking a pound shop remote in your phone.. cheap and gimmicky.

Allows a histogram, custom save location (including SD card), custom white balance, custom ISO, custom exposure, metering, and custom autofocus.
Supports multiple cameras. There's a 1X button on the bottom left which chooses cameras. It has forced flash, no flash, autoflash and continuous flashlight. It allows you to configure volume buttons to, for example shutter/focus, just shutter, EV+/EV-, change cameras and so on.
It can capture DNG RAW.
Allows you to set a custom naming scheme. And reset the counter for naming, as well as set the starting number for the counter.
It has grids (rule of thirds, one quarter, crosshair, golden spirals...).
Has normal photo, bracketing (ie. number of photos with EV ranging from 0.1 EV to 2.0), burst, intervalometer (ie. 20 photos every 5 seconds) and synthetic exposure.
It automatically sets correct orientation even with auto-rotate off.
Costs 3.29 or so on Play Store.
Runs flawlessly on my Android 14.
I find it takes the best detailed pictures even on everything auto.
This might satisfy the photographer in you.
For videos you have Cinema FV-5 but have not used that.

so yes.. a failure camera phone in 2024

If you bought this phone please do be aware that only the sides are titanium, the back is glass as in needs to be not metal for wireless charging to work. Whatever they do to the glass on these last few generations makes the cracks very hard to see though and the backs are inexpensive to replace anyway, not that it even matters if you replace it since everything will work the same if its cracked as long as it doesn't crack the camera lenses
