Samey Samsung Galaxy S25 leaks in first renders
A couple of days ago the first leaked CAD-based renders of the Galaxy S25 Ultra showed up, and today the 'vanilla' Galaxy S25 has received the exact same treatment.
The upcoming phone is expected to be marginally smaller than its predecessor in all dimensions. It will measure 146.9 x 70.4 x 7.2 mm, compared to 147 x 70.6 x 7.6 mm.
The S25 will be quite similar, design-wise, to the S24, but it will come with smaller bezels (if these renders are accurate) and rings for the cameras on the back. The flat sides are here to stay, apparently - at least until Apple decides to introduce a new style for the frame and every Android maker follows its lead all over again.
The Galaxy S25 will be powered either by an Exynos chipset (most likely marketed as Exynos 2500) or the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, we've heard contradictory reports on this. The SoC will be paired with 12GB of RAM, but storage options will still start at 128GB, just like last year. The battery capacity is also likely to remain unchanged at 4,000 mAh.
The official unveiling of the Galaxy S25 family should take place during the week of January 13, according to the source of these renders.

Pathetic effort from samsung. In fact zero effort. The same 5 yrs old cameras, A15 design. Not even considering this junk from old parts. Cameras should be on par with Ultra, like Apple did with 16 Pro, then it'd be tempting.

Correct, but S24 sold better than S24 Plus. Just like iPhone 12 & 13 mini sold better than iPhone 14 & 15 Plus. Clearly smaller phones are preferable to "Plus" phones. The Ultra is a different class of device, it's not a direct...
